The Holiday of Saint Patrick’s Day is upon us, and many around Orange County did what they probably always do year after year to celebrate the occasion like gather up food, plan parties and festivals, and of course; gather up booze to usher in the Irish festivities. Still, many people within today’s modern day society do not even understand, know, or remember the true purpose, and meaning of the Sacred Christian Holiday. Saint Patrick’s Day is more than just a day where people use it as an excuse to get insanely drunk, outrageously high off pot, or to have a bunch of college aged girls dress in skimpy green and gold bras with G-string thong panties stretched out from under their Irish style plaid skin tight short skirts. It is more than just a so-called “sex Holiday,” where people just party, and try to get laid. As a matter of fact, it has absolutely nothing to do with any of these asinine things.

The true origins of Saint Patrick’s Day trace back to the man himself who was born in 385 A.D. His name was Patricius Maewyn Succat. The name “Patricius,” is Ancient Latin for our modern day English Name of Patrick. The reason for this is, because St. Patrick was actually born in Great Britain, and not Ireland. Patrick’s last name “Succat,” means “Warrior Like. “Britain was militarily occupied by the Romans/Italians back then. (www.lifehacker.com)

Saint Patrick was born into a very devout Christian family, and came from a long line of Preachers. Both his Grandfather, and his own father were lead Pastors within a local Church. (www.timeanddate.com)

One day while playing by the beach by himself one summer, a 16 year old Saint Patrick was captured, and kidnapped by pirates. These pirates turned out to be druid devil worshipers. They would take Saint Patrick, and other captured children to their headquarters in Northeastern Ireland, where they were forced into torture, forced manual labor, and even brutally killed or sacrificed. The druid devil worshipers held Saint Patrick captive as their slave for a total of six years, and had him work mostly in their farming fields, and shepherding their animals in their great green grassy plains. They would further torture the young St. Patrick, and would force him to even work in horrible weather conditions like strong winds, and icy rain for hours on end. (www.lifehacker.com) During this time Saint Patrick would grow closer to his Christian Faith, and would rely on it for survival. He would also learn the Ancient Irish Language of Gaelic during this time. This is best exemplified within Saint Patrick’s personal memoir titled The Confession, “The love of God and his fear grew in me more and more, as did the faith, and my soul was rosed, so that, in a single day, I have said as many as a hundred prayers and in the night, nearly the same. I prayed in the woods and on the mountain, even before dawn. I felt no hurt from the snow, or ice, or rain.”

One night while still trapped in a concentration camp jail cell under the druid’s rule, a strange light appeared before him. Out of this light, Jesus Christ stepped out of it and specifically told him to, “run to the edge of the island, I have prepared an escape for you. There will be a ship ready. It is time for you to go home.” After seeing this encounter with God Himself, Saint Patrick wound up fighting off some prison guards later on that night. (www1.cbn.com) He would snatch away one of their key-rings, and escape the prison camp. He would run through 200 miles of wild wilderness until he got to the edge of the foreign Emerald Isle. There he recognized the loading dock by the ocean where he hand been dropped off as a slave a few years back. Saint Patrick would climb down the edge of the cliff down to the beach site, and would hi-jack one of the druid devil worshipper’s ships, and sail back to Britain. Jesus Christ had finally answered his Prayers! (www.thestoryofliberty.net) “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13)

Saint Patrick finally crash landed in Britain, and would eventually find his family. He was obviously no longer a teenager anymore, but was a grown man. He would study more of his Faith in Jesus Christ under both his Grandfather, and father. A few years later, St. Patrick would be officially ordained as a Lead Pastor. After receiving this crowning achievement, and milestone in his life, Saint Patrick would be visited again by Jesus Christ in a Divine Apparition. (www.timeanddate.com) Christ would then Command Saint Patrick to help in fulfilling “The Great Commission,” of spreading The Holy Gospel to all nations on earth.(www1.cbn.com) Saint Patrick’s portion of helping the other Saints, or Believers was for him to sail back to Ireland (the place of his enslavement), and get redemption by ridding the country of its Lucifarian governmental rule under the druids, and freeing the slaves who were still trapped there. His other objective was to Christianize the nation itself, and rid it of druid Satanism. (www.timeanddate.com)

“16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:16-20) “The Great Commission.”

So with this Divine Encounter with God, Saint Patrick packed his things, and set off by ship to Ireland behind enemy lines once again. Saint Patrick would then crash land on the Emerald Isle, and explored the forests, and great grassy plains of the European nation primarily in its Northern, and Western Regions. (www.timeanddate.com) Saint Patrick was not only a great Christian Preacher, but was a great warrior as well. He did as Christ ordered him to do, and freed the slaves in Ireland. He would fight off the druid devil worshipers, and would force them to the ocean; thus ridding the island of them through wars, rebellions, and uprisings. This is where the Irish folks get their solidified legendary status of being gruff, tough, and ultimately great fighters. (www.timeanddate.com) He would Preach, and convince not only the slaves that he had liberated to come to Believe in Jesus Christ, but also lower, and middle class peasant druid people that had no choice but to follow the satanic religion of the elites who ran their country at the time.(www1.cbn.com) Conveniently, the Kings, and Queens, of the druid kingdoms would never offer up their own sons, and daughters as satanic blood sacrifices, but only the children of their surfs, or peasants. Therefore, thousands of these druid peasants jumped at the chance to learn The Holy Gospel as an alternative to the brutal druid pagan religion. (www.markfisherauthor.com)

Saint Patrick would later teach the fellow slaves that he had liberated, and the converted druid peasants about The Holy Trinity Of The Gospel by utilizing a lucky traditional Irish plant called “The Three-Leaved Clover,” as a derivative of The Jesus Christ Cross, or Holy Crucifix.(www1.cbn.com) The main idea was to illustrate to them in a visual effort a more simpler teaching, and example of The Father God Jehovah being at the top head, or leaf of the Cross, The Son Jesus Christ being at the basis, or stem of the Cross, and The Holy Ghost or Sacred Dove with Its Wings outstretched wide from each pillar’s or leave’s side from right to left as explained when a Priest, or Congregation member Blesses themselves during a Prayer. This is to symbolize The Divine Essence, and The Divine Mystery of Jesus Christ being called “The Triune God,” or “Three In One God,” in Ancient Hebrew, Greek, and Latin.(www.biblestudytools.com) The roots of this fact trace back to The Christmas Story with The Divine Conception of Our Lord And Savior Jesus Christ as He came to earth through The Virgin Mary. “23 The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).(Matthew 1:23) Jesus Christ was The Incarnation of Jehovah, and The Holy Ghost in human form transported to earth within Mary’s womb, thus completing The Ancient Prophecy of The Holy Trinity, and the First Coming Of The World’s Messiah, or Savior. Therefore three Divine Deities morphed together within one vessel or God, Jesus Christ. Saint Patrick also explained to them that this is why Christianity is considered a “Monotheistic Religion,” meaning that they have, and serve only one God; and are not considered a “Polytheistic Religion,” which describes a religion that serves a group of multiple gods.

Over the next 40 years, Saint Patrick would Convert, and Baptize thousands of liberated slaves, and druid peasants. He would build them hundreds of Churches, schools, and other infrastructure. St. Patrick would also establish law and order within Ireland under The Ten Commandments of The Holy Bible, along with appointing hundreds of new Pastors, Bishops, and Deacons, to help establish new Christian jurisdictions within the country. (www.gotquestions.org) He helped to establish better, and safer communities; and law enforcement. Saint Patrick spearheaded the effort of turning Ireland into a more modernized Westernized European society. It was around this time that Jesus Christ would help Saint Patrick perform a Divine Miracle that would convince even more people to come to The Faith. One day after Saint Patrick was done giving an epic Sermon in a small village in Ireland; he would stick his wooden shepherd’s staff in the ground there. It was the same staff that he had used when he had once been a slave to the satanic druids back when they forced him to round up their livestock. It was also the same staff that he ironically used as a weapon, along with his sword, and shield, when he drove the druid barbarian soldiers to the sea in the wars. He would leave his shepherd’s staff there in the ground as a sort of calling token in remembrance of his inspiring Sermon that he gave there to those villagers. Miraculously a days later, the staff would sprout into a young tree, and within a few more months grow into a full grown tree.(www.dreamreader.net) The villagers were shocked. This amazing Blessing would later draw comparisons to the tale of Aaron’s Staff within The Holy Bible. “8 And it came to pass, that on the morrow Moses went into the tabernacle of witness; and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds.”( Numbers 17:8)

Saint Patrick would eventually pass away on March 17, 493 A.D. at the age of 108, and would be buried beneath The Holy Ground of Down Cathedral in Downpatrick, Ireland. The Irish people then placed his name amongst other great Irish Patron Saints like Saint Columba, and Saint Brigid. He would leave behind a legacy of Piety, generosity, charity, humility, and the never ending thirst to uphold justice. Eventually a Catholic Priest from the Franciscan Order, and academic named Luke Wadding would fight in the Vatican to push for Saint Patrick to get his very own Holy Feast Day, and Holiday. His dream was realized in the 17th Century when the Holiday was made official. (www.timeanddate.com) Now Saint Patrick’s Day is officially recognized, and is celebrated by various different types of Christians all over the world. From Traditionalist Catholics, to various Protestant Denominations like Evangelical Anglicans, Orthodox Anglicans, and Evangelical Lutherans, to Ancient Eastern Greek Orthodox Christians, many different groups unite to celebrate the Holy Day as Devout Brothers, and Sisters.

With this being said, Saint Patrick’s Day is more than just some day to get drunk, high, or to get laid. It is a valuable day that is supposed to represent the fact that with Faith in Jesus Christ, patience, perseverance, determination, and the tenacity for redemption, any man, or woman, can go out into the world; and make a difference when it comes to fighting for what is truly right.
