Florida has a new heartbeat law that protects babies from abortions starting at 6 weeks when their heartbeat can be detected.
However, a new undercover campaign has caught abortion businesses in the state paying women to seek abortions in other states.
Recent undercover audio has demonstrated that abortion centers in Florida are not killing babies after a detectable heartbeat (around 6 weeks), but instead are paying women to get out-of-state abortions, as the pro-life group Created Equal informed LifeNews today.
According to reports from Florida sidewalk counselors, the volume of women seeking abortions in Florida has not decreased since the Heartbeat Law was put into effect on May 1st. The undercover audio obtained by Created Equal shows that many of these women are being referred to abortion facilities in border states. Their transportation, housing, and other expenses are fully covered by the abortion companies.

Mark Harrington, President of Created Equal, condemned the aboriton payments and told LifeNews, “Florida killing centers are paying women to travel to border states to kill their preborn babies. The pro-life movement must wake up to this reality and prepare to intercept the influx of abortion-minded women at border clinics in their home states.”
Harrington’s group has seen the same issue in Ohio, where it is headquartered.
Last year, Ohio was the focus of the country as pro-abortion zealots succeeded in passing Issue 1, thereby making Ohio an abortion sanctuary. Ohio sidewalk counselors have seen an influx of women coming from Kentucky, Indiana, West Virginia, and Tennessee. Women from states like Texas and Florida have also been spotted at Ohio’s abortion facilities.
“Created Equal responded to this new reality by deploying Mobile Ultrasound Vans on the southern border of Ohio to reach mothers coming from surrounding states. And on day one of deployment, a baby was saved through our vehicle,” Harrington said.
“As the undercover recording demonstrates, as states move to restrict and ban abortion, killing centers in those states work to send women to abortion havens like Ohio. Created Equal has responded by purchasing and fitting out our ultrasound van and deploying it to abortion clinics on the border of Ohio. Ultrasound technology is a proven and effective tactic to save babies from abortion. Pro-life groups everywhere should follow our example and deploy their own vans to border clinics in their home states. We must thwart the schemes of the abortion industry,” he added.
