Following the death of Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi, known as “the butcher of Tehran” because of the thousands of people whose murders he has overseen, Joe Biden’s administration quickly issued a statement of condolences.
Raisi was killed, along with Foreign Minister Amir Abdollahian, in a helicopter crash in the northern mountainous part of the country.
Biden’s State Department issued a press release stating “The United States expresses its official condolences for the death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian, and other members of their delegation in a helicopter crash in northwest Iran.”
“As Iran selects a new president, we reaffirm our support for the Iranian people and their struggle for human rights and fundamental freedoms,” it added.
Condolences? To the country whose government officials routinely chant “death to America”? To the country that openly supports and funds terrorist groups?
Respondents pointed out that the Biden regime wasn’t so quick to issue condolences to Americans who have been killed recently.
