Even his staff could not stand Biden. Poor Joe.
This week, Lily Greenberg Call resigned from her post over Joe Biden’s pandering stance on the Israel-Hamas war.
Call, a staunch supporter of Hamas and member of a radical anti-Israel organization, IfNotNow, was the special assistant to the Chief of Staff of the Department of the Interior.
Call’s group has been a longtime supporter of Hamas and participated in several anti-Israel protests over the past months.
IfNotNow also backs antisemite and anti-Israel lawmakers, Reps. Rashida Tlaib (D-Missouri) and Ilhan Omar (D-Michigan). The group is one of the fiercest critics of Jewish establishments.
The Associated Press first reported her resignation. However, it downplayed her support for the terrorist Hamas and her participation in IfNotNow.
In her resignation letter, Call wrote, “I can no longer in good conscience continue to represent this administration amidst President Biden’s disastrous, continued support for Israel’s genocide in Gaza,” accusing Biden of using Jewish people to justify US policy in the conflict.
She thundered against Biden and said, “He is making Jews the face of the American war machine. And that is so deeply wrong.”
On X, she captioned her resignation letter, “Today, I became the first Jewish-American political appointee to resign from the Biden-Harris administration over its policies in Gaza.
She also claimed that the United States enabled and legitimized “Israeli war crimes,” and their “apartheid and occupation.”
She also encouraged Biden to “call for a lasting cease-fire, to stop sending weapons to Israel, and to condition aid. The United States has used nearly no leverage throughout the last eight months to hold Israel accountable. Quite the opposite, we have enabled and legitimized Israel’s actions with vetoes of United Nations resolutions designed to hold Israel accountable. President Biden has the blood of innocent people on his hands.”
Ironically, Greenberg-Call is the daughter of Thomas Call, a high-ranking executive of RTX Corp., formerly Raytheon Technologies Corp., one of the biggest arms dealers in the world who supports Israel’s war against Hamas terrorists.
Before Call, the first to step down from his position was Josh Paul, a former director of congressional and public affairs for the State Department’s Bureau of Political-Military Affairs.
Biden’s first Jewish-American appointee resigned while the Hamas terrorists commemorated the 76th anniversary of the “Nakba.”
Before this, the Biden administration initiated the process of releasing the $1 billion military aid for Israel, shared by congressional sources.
The 81-year-old president suffered backlash as he suspended the shipment of 2,000-pound bombs and 500-pound bombs to Israel, in an attempt to dissuade the Netanyahu government from pursuing Hamas terrorists in Rafah, their last bastion.
