President Joe Biden marked the anniversary of a landmark Supreme Court case on segregation but was quickly taken to task online for his past remarks on the subject.
Speaking on the 70th anniversary of the 1954 Supreme Court ruling, Brown v. Board of Education, Biden noted the importance of the fight against school desegregation but was reminded about past comments some saw as racist.
“The work of building a democracy … worthy of our dreams starts with opening the doors of opportunity for everyone, without exception,” he said Friday at the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington.
But the president was called out for his pandering and for his previous stance on segregation issues as a U.S. senator.
“Too bad Joe Biden kept fighting FOR Segregation (sic) decades after this wonderful decision,” one X user wrote.
Interesting. Isn’t this the same guy who said he didn’t want his kids going to school in a “racial jungle?”

Is he going to lie about all he’s done for civil rights? And how he was “raised” in the black community?

Biden also posted a photo of himself with members of The Little Rock Nine, taking a shot at his political rivals with the group who were blocked in 1957 from entering a Little Rock school by then-Democrat Governor Orval Faubus.

You said you were going to unite and heal the country.
But it’s been non-stop slander by you and your friends.
