Failed presidential candidate Mitt Romney dumped on his GOP colleagues and one of them punched back against the sanctimonious senator.
Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) took exception with the insults spewed by the holier than thou Romney who sniffed at the “demeaning” show of support by him and other Republicans who turned out in New York City for the smutty show trail of former President Donald J. Trump.
Now beloved by the left-wing media that tore him to shreds during his doomed 2012 presidential run, Romney has frequently taken shots at members of his own party, especially those who are supportive of Trump.

“Mitt Romney of all people is probably the least equipped to criticize how people have conducted themselves vis-a-vis Donald Trump,” Vance told reporters, according to The Hill.
“He attacked him and then he begged him for a job, and then he attacked them again and begged him for endorsement,” added the Ohio Republican of the former governor of Massachusetts, previously friendly with Trump until a bizarre vendetta that began during the 2016 primaries, a race that Mitt lacked the stones to get into himself.
On Tuesday, the retiring Utah senator spoke to reporters on Capitol Hill, heaping scorn upon Speaker Mike Johnson and other Republicans who spoke out on Trump’s behalf at the Manhattan courthouse where he’s being tried on Trumped-up charges by a black partisan prosecutor that he paid “hush money” to porn queen Stormy Daniels.
“I think it’s a little demeaning to show up in front of a courthouse, and particularly one where we’re talking about an allegation of paying a porn star. It’s really, really very difficult to watch,” Romney said.
“Mitt’s been on sort of three sides of every issue in public policy in this country the last 20 years. I think that he should stick to being a legislator and try to do a good job for the people of Utah. When he attacks his colleagues, I think it’s counterproductive,” Vance told the reporters.
Romney earned himself a special place in the hearts of leftists when he chose to spend his later years in Washington, D.C. where he joined Democrats in their mission to destroy Trump, supporting his friends on the other side of the aisle on their duo of failed impeachments.
Showing that perhaps he’s always been a closet Democrat himself, Pierre Delecto sat down with MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle where he suggested that Washington’s institutions were of the foremost importance over democracy and put in a plug for the network, one of the greatest purveyors of hate, likes and conspiracy theories on cable television.

“Look, there, there’s no question but that when you have a person running for president who is not willing to say, ‘I believe the outcome of an election,’ that’s a threat to democracy,” Romney told the host. “And when you weaken our judicial system, when you weaken the FBI, these are things that — that strike at the heart of democracy.
“And that’s one of the reasons we’re fighting as hard as we are to shore up these institutions, tell people the truth about them, and hopefully have folks listen to folks like you to understand what’s at stake,” he added of the non-democratic version of “our democracy” that essentially means one-party Democrat rule.
Romney will soon be exiting political life when he retires from the Senate, having done little to stop Trump who stands a very good chance of being elected for a second term in November.
Vance has been mentioned as a potential running mate for Trump and at 39 years old and a rising star, he’ll be making a mark on Republican politics for a long time after Romney’s underground.
