A Change.org petition is closing in on 100,000 signatures to remove Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker from the team following his commencement speech that leftists have branded as sexist, homophobic, anti-trans, and racist.
The speech has gone viral as the NFL is scrambling to distance itself from the three-time Super Bowl champion. Butker also called professed Catholic President Joe Biden “delusional” for supporting the “murder of innocent babies” in his faith-fueled commencement speech at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas.
“Butker, an outspoken Catholic and married father-of-two, congratulated the women receiving their degrees at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas, last weekend, and said most of them were probably more excited about getting married, having children and staying at home to raise them, rather than establishing their careers,” the Daily Mail wrote.
“Bad policies and poor leadership have negatively impacted major life issues. Things like abortion, IVF, surrogacy, euthanasia, as well as a growing support for degenerate cultural values and media all stem from pervasiveness of disorder,” Butker asserted in his speech.

Butker, 28, is an unabashed and proud Christian. He spoke to his values during his speech which also slammed Pride month, incensing the Left who immediately circulated the petition. It should be noted that he received a standing ovation from graduates and other attendees at the ceremony.
Can we start a trend with women with degrees and careers but agree with Harrison Butker’s speech?

The petition was started on Monday. It currently stands at 99,404 signatures as of this writing. Today alone, 75,093 people have signed it.
“The harmful remarks made by Harrison Butker, kicker of the Kansas City Chiefs, during his commencement address at Benedictine College were unacceptable. His comments were sexist, homophobic, anti-trans, Pro-Life and racist. These dehumanizing remarks against LGBTQ+ individuals, attacks on abortion rights, and racial discrimination perpetuate division and undermine human rights,” the petition states.
“These comments reinforce harmful stereotypes that threaten social progress. They create a toxic environment that hinders our collective efforts toward equality, diversity, and inclusion in society. It is unacceptable for such a public figure to use their platform to foster harm rather than unity,” it continues.
“It’s important to note that these types of discriminatory attitudes contribute significantly towards societal issues such as hate crimes which have been on the rise in recent years (source: FBI Hate Crime Statistics). Furthermore, they can lead to increased mental health issues among targeted communities (source: American Psychological Association),” the petition adds.
1. I worked in the NFL, it’s a terrible culture.. Harrison Butker is the last person who should be losing his job
2. Harrison Butker is fighting for women and the left is too brainwashed to know what’s good for them. Being a submissive wife who honors God, and raises children… https://t.co/JHsqmppszb

“We demand accountability from our sports figures who should be role models promoting respect for all people regardless of their race, gender identity or sexual orientation. We call upon the Kansas City Chiefs management to dismiss Harrison Butker immediately for his inappropriate conduct,” the petition demands. “Please sign this petition if you stand with us against discrimination and believe in fostering an inclusive society where everyone is treated with dignity and respect.”
The NFL’s chief DEI officer, Jonathan Beane, is making it crystal-clear that the organization does not support Butker’s comments.

“Harrison Butker gave a speech in his personal capacity. His views are not those of the NFL as an organization. The NFL is steadfast in our commitment to inclusion, which only makes our league stronger,” Beane insisted according to the Daily Mail.
“Former Kansas City commissioner Justice Horn also slammed Butker in a social media post, writing, ‘Harrison Butker doesn’t represent Kansas City nor has he ever. Kansas City has always been a place that welcomes, affirms, and embraces our LGBTQ+ community members,” the Daily Mail noted.
It is unclear if the famed kicker has anything to worry about. Many Americans support what he said in his speech as well as his Christian viewpoint.
