Well, well, well… a little more cocaine was found in DC.
This time, however, the cocaine was found at the Capitol Police HQ.
Believe me, you are not alone if you are starting to wonder if maybe they found the source of the cocaine that was found in the White House before.
Look What I Found
The USCP announced this week that a small bag filled with cocaine had been found in a “heavily trafficked” area of its HQ.
This is their way of saying that it did not belong to a member of the police force.
The announcement came via a press release around 1:00 p.m. local time.
The bag was found in a hallway on the second floor of the building, which the USCP stated is often used by contractors, employees, and various other departments within the Capitol Police, such as prisoner processing and crime scene investigations.
This comes nearly a year after a bag of cocaine was found in a public locker in the West Wing of the White House.
At the time, the Secret Service stated, “The White House complex went into a precautionary closure as officers from the Secret Service Uniformed Division investigated an unknown item found inside a work area.
“The DC Fire Department was called to evaluate and quickly determined the item to be non-hazardous. The item was sent for further evaluation and an investigation into the cause and manner of how it entered the White House is pending.”
That “crime” was never solved, but maybe now we know why.
I have always maintained that, given the amount of surveillance in the White House, there is simply no way a bag was placed in one of those lockers and not caught on camera.
Maybe it was just someone who they did not want to get in trouble, like a Capitol Police officer, so they decided to kill the investigation.
That is obviously speculation on my part, but would anyone reading this really be surprised if that was actually the case?
