President Donald Trump was overwhelmingly backed by the American people, offline and online.
Recently, one of Trump’s supporters made it to headlines as he blasted New York District Attorney Alvin Bragg for his criminal charges against Donald Trump, and that was none other than Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
Musk weighed his thoughts on the ongoing trial as Arizona Congressional candidate Blake Masters, a Republican and protege of venture capitalist Peter Thiel, wrote on X: “It’s hard to put into words the staggering corruption of Alvin Bragg’s kangaroo court in New York City.”
He went on to enumerate what was going on with the sham proceedings. He said, “The District Attorney lowers half of all felonies to misdemeanors yet raised a misdemeanor to a felony in order to indict Trump.”
“The lead prosecutor, Matthew Colangelo, was a Democratic National Committee consultant and number 3 at Biden’s DOJ before being hired by Bragg to go after Trump.”
Moreover, another lead prosecutor was a left-leaning lawyer who gave more than $1,000 to Joe Biden and Act Blue during the 2020 elections.
“The judge donated to Biden and his daughter is a left-wing activist who is using the trial to raise money for Democrats,” he continued.
Lastly, “The lead witness is a convicted perjurer who is selling t-shirts of Trump in jail on TikTok.”
Masters concluded that the ongoing trial in New York against Trump is a “joke” and would not have happened if Trump had not outrun Biden in polls.
“This whole thing is a joke and wouldn’t be happening if President Trump wasn’t leading in every swing state poll.”
Mike Benz, executive director of Foundation for Freedom Online, retweeted the post and captioned: “The judge is so financially conflicted he wouldn’t even be allowed on the jury. The star witness is a multi-crime convicted felon who in most states wouldn’t even be allowed to vote.”
This is where Musk replied and said, “The more unfair the attacks on Trump seem to the public, the higher he will rise in the polls.”
A fact proven by the New York Times and Sienna College poll.
According to the Times/Siena/Inquirer survey, the former president was ahead of Biden in Arizona with a 49 percent to 42 percent rating, Georgia by 10 percent, Michigan by 42 percent, Nevada by 12 percent, and Pennsylvania by 12 percent among registered voters.
The former president continues to widen his gap against the 81-year-old President Joe Biden, who recently argued that the economy is improving.
Contrary to his claims, more than half of the survey’s respondents believe the American economy is poor.
