The Secretary of State sends out a lot of promotional and fluff emails like the one we received for Mother’s Day.
Yet, their office has had problems with reaching people on the phone (sometimes the phone dies upon being transferred).
Last year, the Secretary of State’s Corporation Division was closed an hour early every day and closed entirely on Fridays.
The Secretary of State spent $350,000 for this mascot.
Which looked a lot like another mascot with the exact same name from the United Kingdom.
Maybe the Secretary of State should divert promotional funds towards front-line staff.
I appreciate the staff that our office does reach, but clearly they are under-staffed and need help.
