It’s a feud that’s gone on for more than 15 years, and actress and comedian Mo’Nique isn’t about to let it go.
But, if fans’ reactions are any indication, maybe she should.
This is NOT comedy and I was MISERABLE at her live show

During her latest stand-up routine, the 56-year-old Oscar-winner tore into Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry in a profanity-laced rant that’s setting social media on fire.
“F**k you, Oprah Winfrey!” Mo’Nique shouted to the audience. “F**k you, Tyler Perry!”
“F**k that c**n motherf**ker!” she stated. “N**ga, I said it. Now say it with me!”
And the crowd happily called the curses back to her.

As previously reported, Mo’Nique’s grudge against Winfrey and Perry goes back to a 2008 appearance on Winfrey’s daytime talk show.
Winfrey purported to invite her brother Gerald Imes onto “The Oprah Winfrey Show” to apologize for having sexually abused her as a child, Mo’Nique explained during a February appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s “Club Shay Shay” podcast. Fresh off her Academy Award win for “Precious,” Mo’Nique reluctantly agreed, only to discover via aired commercials that her mother, father, and other brother would also be present.
“I start seeing commercials with my mother and my father and my other brother who used to be my manager who knew the fear that I had with the brother that was up on stage,” Mo’Nique told Sharpe. “We never talked about my mother being there.”
“Imagine you then seeing your granddaddy and your grandmama on a show, and they’re talking about somebody that violated you, and that woman didn’t tell you that they were going to be there,” she added. “How would you feel?”
A year prior to the Sharpe interview, Mo’Nique had accused Winfrey and Perry of having had her blackballed from Hollywood “after she opted out of participating in press during the Oscars campaign for the film [Precious] years ago,” The Root reported at the time. “Her decision came much to the chagrin of director Lee Daniels, whom Mo’nique would also become estranged from before reconciling with last year. It also prompted other Hollywood heavyweights like Tyler Perry and Oprah to weigh in, which the comedian said only further blackballed her in the industry.”
During her latest stand-up routine as part of Katt Williams’ comedy tour, Mo’Nique didn’t hold back, twice calling Perry a “c**n motherf**ker” and referring to Oprah as a “black raggedy b**ch” who is “simple-minded.”
“I love Oprah Winfrey’s black ass,” she stated. “We just need to bring her back to black. We need to bring that b**ch to motherf**king black.”
As for Winfrey’s longtime best friend, CBS host Gayle King, Mo’Nique quipped: Who is loving Oprah and Gayle King? Each other. But we can’t say that s**t out loud.”
“I’m too motherf**king old to be scared of this b**ch,” Mo’Nique stated. “I’m too old to be intimidated by this b**ch. I’m too old to hold the motherf**king truth.”
Online, fans of the comedian suggest Mo’Nique might want to move on.
“I get it! Yes they wronged her and I’m not saying she should be quiet about it…but why subject your audience who paid their hard earned coins to see you to these repetitive topics,” one user wrote on X. “They came to laugh and nothing about that shit is funny or satirical in fact it’s exhausting.”
“I love Mo’Nique, but she’s damn old to be still holding on to that past drama,” said another. “Let it go, Mo’Nique!”
“She’s miserable,” surmised a third.

“And that’s part of her problem with growth these years,” one user noted. “Sometimes you have to let that sh*t go and breathe.”
