Whoopi Goldberg took serious issue with Donald Trump noting during a recent interview with Time Magazine a “definite anti-white feeling in the country right now,” before adding “that can’t be allowed.”
Goldberg, co-host of ABC’s The View, was “enraged” over the remark and opted to address the former president directly, insisting that because white people are not being hung there is no anti-white sentiment in the country — keep in mind that the entire premise of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives is to relegate white Americans to second class citizen status.
“This is my favorite. And I’m going to tell you before I say it that it enraged me,” Whoopi said, before reading Trump’s quote: “There is a definite anti-white feeling in the country right now.”
Joy Behar, the queen of white guilt, interjected, “Oh, please.”
“That’s what he said,” Whoopi replied, before addressing Trump directly, “You know, Sir?”
Behar took exception with her calling the former president sir, as Whoopi continued, “Yeah, Sir. Nobody in your family was hung. Nobody in your family was chased because of the color of their skin. How dare you? There’s no anti-white issue here. You are perpetrating anti-humanist issues here.”
So there you have it. If Whoopi says it with some feels, it must be true. Then again, given that Trump and his family have been lynched, metaphorically speaking, again and again by much of the media, her remarks make for an interesting statement.
Whoopi then launched into electioneering mode while trying to shrug it off as part of her job.
“So the question is, is he the future? Is he the future? Well, I gotta ask! You know, that’s the gig — they pay me,” she concluded.
Alyssa Farah Griffin, who served as Trump’s director of strategic communications, chimed in to help explain her seat at the table, warning that “there won’t be guardrails next time” if Trump is elected to the White House for a second term.
“He says he’s going to only hire loyalists and people who say that the last election is stolen,” she opined. “So he’s admitting he’s going to staff a White House and the entire federal government with either liars or lunatics. It is very scary. And I just want to underscore because I want Trump to lose. He and Joe Biden are neck and neck. It is very real that in seven months we will wake up to President-Elect Donald Trump and that should be scary for everyone.”
In the end, that is what all the angst among the harpies on the show is all about — they are petrified that Trump may actually win in November.
