Proving they live in a make believe bubble world, ‘protesters’ at Columbia demanded that the University provide them with food and drinks after they broke into campus buildings and barricaded themselves inside.
One student assigned to be the spokesperson addressed the media Tuesday, and asked that those trespassing inside Hamilton Hall be provided meals that they had previously paid for as part of their academic courses.
Johannah King-Slutzky, a PhD student at the university, framed the request as if herself and those inside were Gazan refugees requesting “basic humanitarian aid.”
“Like, could people please have a glass of water?’’ the student, who refused to identify herself but was later identified, asked reporters.
She continued, “Do you want students to die of dehydration and starvation or get severely ill even if they disagree with you? If the answer is no, then you should allow basic… I mean, it’s crazy to say because we’re on an Ivy League campus, but this is like basic humanitarian aid we’re asking for.”
One reporter responded, noting “It seems like you’re sort of saying: ‘We want to be revolutionaries, we want to take over this building, now would you please bring us some food and water.’’’
King-Slutzky, who describes herself on her website as a “video editor and full-service digital comms expert for progressive and leftist causes,” claimed “Nobody’s asking them to bring anything,” adding “We’re asking them to not violently stop us from bringing in basic humanitarian aid.’’
She then admitted that there was no actual evidence of university officials attempting to prevent supplies being brought to the protesters, and instead pivoted her position.
“We are looking for a commitment from them that they will not stop it,’’ she said, adding “I do not know to what extent it has been attempted. But we’re looking for a commitment.’’
The entire time, King-Slutzky, who it turns out is a Marxist lesbian, was flanked by a they/them in a denim crop top.
They’re bored Ivy League trust fund babies who spend their lives playing make believe at being downtrodden workers, Marxist revolutionaries, and now refugees urgently needing ‘humanitarian aid’.
The mockery was relentless.
I think we need to consider the possibility that our most selective elite universities aren’t.

As we highlighted earlier, the occupiers, as well as those outside in tents, were turfed out and arrested by the NYPD Tuesday night after the University had enough and declared them to be trespassing.
