In a move presumably made to reach voters and prove he can hold his end of a live conversation, President Biden sat down in the remarkably safe space of “drooling” shock-jock Howard Stern and lied his butt off — repeatedly.
Reporter Greg Price kept track of the whoppers on X.
“On Howard Stern’s show today, Biden claimed… He saved 6 people from drowning as a lifeguard (Lie); He received ‘salacious pictures’ from women in the 70s that he handed to Secret Service (Definitely a lie and senators don’t have secret service protection); That he was arrested as a kid while standing with a black family on their porch as people were protesting desegregation. (Lie); That he was ‘runner-up in state scoring’ in football. (Lie),” Price wrote.

“It’s unclear how the Secret Service would have been involved,” Fox News Digital said of the “salacious pictures” claim. “Senators do not receive Secret Service protection, and Biden didn’t receive Secret Service protection until 2008, when he was elected vice president.”
The litany of lies was described in euphemistic terms by The New York Times.
“Mr. Biden appeared to once again stretch the truth about being arrested at a Delaware desegregation protest as a teenager,” The Times reported. “There is no evidence that he was ever arrested at a civil-rights protest.”
“He didn’t ‘stretch the truth’ he lied,” wrote Clay Travis on X. “Why won’t @nytimes say Biden lied?”
How did @nytimes describe @JoeBiden lying to Howard Stern about being arrested at a civil rights protest? By saying Biden “appeared to once again stretch the truth.” He didn’t “stretch the truth” he lied. Why won’t @nytimes say Biden lied? pic.twitter.com/A9GqmSsclb

CNN was more direct:
As in the past, Biden told the story on Friday while recounting what his mother supposedly said while urging him to accept Barack Obama’s 2008 offer to be his running mate. His mom, he said, did not want him to turn down a man who was vying to become the first Black president.
Biden told Stern: “She said, ‘Joey, let me — remember’ — true story, she said — ‘Remember when they were desegregating Lynnfield, the neighborhood … suburbia — and I told you — and there was a Black family moving in and there was — people were down there protesting; I told you not to go down there and you went down, remember that? And you got arrested standing on the porch with a Black family? And they brought you back, the police?’ And I said, ‘Yeah, Mom, I remember that.’”
Facts First: There is no evidence Biden ever got arrested during a civil rights protest, as The Liberal Washington Post and PolitiFact found when they looked into this claim in 2022 — and Biden has at least twice told the story of his supposed presence at this particular Delaware protest without mentioning any arrest, instead claiming that the police merely took him home that day.
It’s the second time in a week that CNN has had to correct Biden’s recollections.
On Wednesday, the outlet reported, “Biden has repeatedly embellished or invented biographical tidbits. In 2021, he claimed during a tour of a Mack Trucks facility: ‘I used to drive an 18-wheeler, man,’ then added, ‘I got to.’ At a separate 2021 event, he told college students studying truck technology, ‘I used to drive a tractor-trailer,’ adding, ‘I only did it for part of a summer, but I got my license anyway.’”
“Biden’s claims were fact-checked at the time as false,” CNN stated. “But on Tuesday, during a campaign event in Florida, Biden said it again. … Biden’s claim remains untrue. There is no evidence he ever drove an 18-wheeler.”
On Stern, Biden’s deceased son Beau was once again invoked for emotional effect as the president shared what he claimed was his son’s last words.
“He said, ‘Look at me, dad. Promise me, dad. Promise me, dad that you’ll not leave public life. I know when I go, you’ll want to quit. You’ll want to quit,’” the president said after a dramatic pause. “And he looked at me and said, ‘Give me your word as a Biden. Give me your word.’”
“I gave him my word on the health of my family. And he said, ‘Promise me dad, you won’t step back.’ And I made the promise,” Biden continued. “Before he passed away — I shouldn’t — Last thing he said before he passed away — I mean we were in the hospital, Hunt and I with him, lying in the hospital bed. He looked and he said, ‘I’m not scared, dad, It’s Ok. I’m not scared, it’s Ok.’”

Howard Stern did not come out of this softball sit-down unscathed.
Stern all but slobbered on his mic as he expressed his gratitude to Biden.
“I’ve listened to probably thousands of hours of Howard Stern (don’t ask) and this is the most embarrassing thing I’ve ever heard from him,” stated journalist Michael Tracey. “Gushes how ‘lucky’ we all are to have Biden as ‘Father of the Country,’ with an ‘organized administration’ (?) and for ‘standing up to Putin.’”
“Howard Stern drooling over Joe Biden is pretty wild to watch,” noted the popular An0maly account.

Fox News’s Judge Jeanine Pirro, co-host of “The Five,” ripped into Biden’s “lies.”
“How can Biden debate if he can’t even keep his lies straight!” she exclaimed. “Coward and chief!”
