Christians expressed outrage at Joe Biden Tuesday after made the sign of the cross as the chair of the Florida Democratic Party spoke in favour of abortion.
First off, take a look at the mega crowd Biden drew in Florida.
Were those 10 people promised a free lunch?
Failed gubernatorial candidate Nikki Fried was touting reelection for Biden when she made comments about Ron DeSantis and Donald Trump pushing for more restrictions on abortion.
A six-week abortion ban will take effect in Florida next week, one of the reasons Biden stopped there, because winning in Florida certainly isn’t going to happen for Biden.
Fried stated last week that Biden knows he has to spend time in Florida to demonstrate how “extreme” things have gotten under DeSantis, proclaiming “He understands that if we’re going to fight back against the extremism of the MAGA Republicans, that you got to come to the belly of the beast.”
While Biden stood at her side Fried stated “Ron DeSantis felt like he needed to run for president so fifteen weeks wasn’t good enough, we had to go to six weeks,” outlining her opposition to the abortion law.
While she made the comments Biden crossed himself.
The backlash was immediate:
Between this, replacing Easter Sunday with transgender day, and disagreeing with the Pope’s declaration denouncing gender ideology as “deeply harmful,” a “violation of human dignity,” and aimed at “eliminating the basis of family,” Biden has surely lost any remaining Christian voters who were leaning toward him.
Earlier this month, Trump declared that November 5th, election day, is going to be “Christian Visibility Day.”
