Gee, we wondered why our electric bill was so high, the UN Relief and Works Agency innocently proclaims. They swear up and down they had no idea that Hamas tapped into the power lines of the UNRWA Gaza headquarters. They claim not a single suspicion Hamas was living in their basement. That whole underground command center was a complete surprise, they assert.
UN donated power
No, we couldn’t possibly supply Hamas terrorists with power for their underground command post, the UN Relief and Works Agency insists. That would be illegal.
While on one hand they say “UNRWA … does not have the military and security expertise nor the capacity to undertake military inspections of what is or might be under its premises,” they turn around in the next sentence and admit they knew the score.
“In the past, whenever (a) suspicious cavity was found close to or under UNRWA premises, protest letters were promptly filed to parties to the conflict, including both the de facto authorities in Gaza (Hamas) and the Israeli authorities.”

We’re not qualified to discover tunnels but when we discover them we protest. Oh, that’s alright then, UN global leaders shrug.
The Israel Defense Force (IDF) didn’t have any problem following the power cords. Hamas clearly had “command tunnels” under the UN aid facility headquarters. Separate allegations charge “some of its staffers” with participating in the October 7 massacre of innocent Israeli civilians.
Because the media refuses to admit what they’re seeing is real, Israel Defense Force (IDF) engineers dragged “foreign press reporters on an escorted trip, guiding them through a tunnel whose opening sits next to a school.”
Under UNRWA HQ
UNRWA is the branch of the UN supposed to hand out all the goodies. All along, Israel has been accusing them of handing all the supplies straight to the goat humping terrorists instead of the so called “needy civilians.” Those are only kept around for cover.
They’re the wives and children of the goat humpers and their men are hiding behind them as shields. It’s not working. The tunnel may start out 765 yards from the UNRWA building but a 20-minute walk takes you to the inner sanctum.
The Israel Defense Force (IDF) tour guide highlighted such features along the way as a place where they found “electrical infrastructure inside the tunnel connected to UNRWA’s main headquarters.”

That means the UN was paying to keep all the racks of fancy computer servers running. It’s clear from following the connections that “UNRWA’s facilities supplied the tunnel with electricity.” They never noticed.
Upstairs, “large quantities of weapons were found inside the rooms of the building, including rifles, ammunition, grenades and explosives.” The UN says those came in after they were chased out.
“Intelligence and documents discovered in the offices of UNRWA officials confirmed that the offices had in fact also been used by Hamas terrorists.” While the UN was using those offices, too.
