Once again, Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) has passed legislation with more Democrat support than Republican.
This was the aid package for Ukraine, which brought about a clearly planned celebration by Democrats.
After it became clear the bill was going to pass the House, Democrats started to waive Ukrainian flags on the floor of the House, which even upset Speaker Johnson.
Enough!
This was the scene in the House after the legislation passed…
Watching American representatives pass out & wave Ukrainian flags in the United States House of Representatives chamber infuriated me. As we speak, my team is drafting legislation that will prohibit the display of foreign nations’ flags on the House floor.

Rep. Kat Cammack (R-FL) who posted that video, is now introducing the legislation to ban foreign flags on the floor.
Numerous members of the Freedom Caucus, most of whom were against passing this legislation, were livid.
Rep. Eric Burlison (R-MO) stated, “Democrats waiving Ukrainian flags on the House floor tells you everything you need to know about their priorities. Ukraine first, America last.”
Speaker Johnson appears ready to floor Cammack’s legislation, stating, “These are not normal times here in the House or around the world as we all know.
“And, we saw a disturbance here on the House floor just a bit ago. I just want to say simply what I think most people around the country understand and agree, we should only wave one flag on the House floor. And I think we know which flag that is.”
Johnson also defended the legislation, stating that it “provides for greater accountability over Ukraine aid, it forces an end game strategy for the Ukraine war, it includes a loan instrument of this foreign aid to Ukraine and the REPO Act, to ensure that Russian assets pay for part of the bill.”
For me, this was by far the biggest issue with the aid provided in the past. We know corruption still exists, and only a portion of what is being sent over is being used for its intended purpose.
Johnson still faces a motion to vacate by Rep. Greene (R-GA), which now has the support of at least two other members.
The only thing that will stop Johnson from being removed at this point is if there is Democrat intervention in significant numbers.
Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) has already stated that he would table the motion, protecting Johnson from removal, but that could change if Minority Leader Jeffries (D-N.Y.) is feeling frisky and thinks he can get voted in as the Speaker.
