Our Second Declaration of Independence

When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience has shown, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security. Such has been the patient sufferance of these fifty States; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their current Systems of Government.

The history of our current Government is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these fifty States. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world:

They have willfully failed to maintain a Free and Fair Election for the citizens of the United States.

They have usurped Power, unlawfully ordering Private Enterprises to be obstructed, Churches to be abandoned, and our Schools to be vacant for reasons neither Science nor the Public can abide.

They have Confined us to our Homes and Mandate that the Free People of these United States wear Articles of Clothing that impair our salubrity for reasons neither Science nor the Public can abide.

They determine the number of who we may and may not be in the presence, be it in our Homes or in the Public Square.

They have sanctioned the ability to End the Lives of countless Innocent Children not yet born, and at the Expense of the Taxpayer.

They Decree the Education Curriculum of our Children and Punish Institutes that disagree with their Beliefs.

They Impose their will in Religious Affairs.

They Prescribe the Rules of Private Employment.

They Infringe on the citizens’ rightful use of Public Lands.

They tax the Citizens well beyond what a Government of Free Men requires to operate efficiently.

They willfully Fail to Protect our nation’s Borders.

They encourage people of other lands to enter the United States without Permission, Identification, or Valid Reason. They willfully Permit said people to Vote in our Sacred Elections.

They do not Defend our Right to Free Speech realized in the First Amendment of our Bill of Rights ratified in 1791.

They require Permits and Countless Restrictions for the Citizens to Keep and Bear Arms, disregarding our rights realized in the Second Amendment of our Bill of Rights ratified in 1791.

They require Licenses for all manner of Commerce and revoke said Licenses at will without Cause.

They have erected a multitude of New Offices, without the Consent of the People, that have no Limits and that impose unfair Taxes and Mandates on its Citizens.

They have Claimed Ownership of all Waterways, including those on Private Lands.

They have Decreed that we Purchase Government articles lest we be burdened with Fines or Imprisonment.

They have Impeded our ability to travel freely by requiring us to submit to their questioning and to provide government-issued papers.

They have required us to abide countless laws of Nationalization which serve neither the good of the individual nor the society as a whole.

They have defiled a Free Economy by imposing their will for their Benefit alone.

They have no obligation to be Truthful to the People, yet we are Punished should we take the same course.

In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated silence or injury. An infinite Bureaucracy that is accountable to no man is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.

We, the People of the United States of America, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these States, solemnly publish and declare, That the People of the United States are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent from this Government; that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the our Current System of Government, and that all political and legal connection between them and the Free People of the United States, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent Men, they have full Power to establish a new Government that is built upon Honor, Respect, and Character. With this new Government, Freedom shall not be Denied, Usurped, or be used as a Tool of Government. And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor.
