(Liberty Bell) – Things are really not going well for Joe Biden. His approval rating has completely tanked since the Afghanistan debacle unfolded, though no one expected him to be a great president.
Now, a new poll shows that Biden and President Trump are statistically tied when it comes to their favorability among US voters, with Trump having a slight edge.
According to a report from The Hill, a new Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll survey published on Monday found that 48% of respondents say they have a positive view of Trump compared to 46% who say they have a favorable view of Biden (screen shot here).
The survey found that 49% have an unfavorable view of Biden while 47% report having an unfavorable opinion of President Trump.
Biden is completely tanking with the American people who repeatedly outperformed President Trump’s favorability ratings throughout the early months of his regime. It is important to note, however, that the pollsters have proven they are really not very credible and cannot be trusted.
That being said, multiple crises have caused Americans who previously supported Biden to turn on him.
According to the Hill, “Fifty-one percent of respondents now say Trump was a better president than Biden, while 49 percent prefer the White House’s current occupant, the poll shows.”
The survey also showed that Biden’s job approval rating is in the dumpster as well with only 48% of respondents reporting they approve of the job he’s doing while 50% disapprove.
Back in July, a Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll survey found that 52% approved of the job Biden was doing and back in June it was at 62%. It’s clear Americans are quickly losing hope that Biden will ever fix the numerous crises facing America that he, in fact, created.
Infowars notes, “With surging inflation, open borders and vaccine mandates combined with vaccine failure in the face of rapidly evolving variants, the collapse of his approval rating has only just begun.”
The Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll also found that President Trump is the overwhelming favorite to win the Republican presidential nomination in 2024 should he decide to run again.
Nearly 6 in 10 Republican voters polled said they would vote for President Trump in 2024 indicating that Trump still remains very popular within the party.
None of the other possible Republican presidential candidates even come close to matching Trump’s popularity. Mike Pence was a distant second place with only 13% while Florida Governor Ron DeSantis only received 9% despite his rising popularity.
Former United States Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) are tied for fourth place with 3 percent support apiece, according to the latest poll results.
Mark Penn, the co-director of the Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll study, pointed out, “While defeated candidates rarely come back, Trump has a strong lead in the Republican primary especially among the most dedicated Republicans.”
America loves President Trump and we know he is the only one who can turn this country around after the catastrophic mess the Biden regime has made.
