Texas Governor Greg Abbott issued a pardon this week that is going to have the left melting down.
Abbott pardoned Daniel Perry, who was the Army Sergeant who shot and killed a BLM protester in 2020.
The protester was legally carrying a firearm at the time of the shooting.

If you recall, the former Army Sergeant created national outrage from liberals when he shot and killed the BLM protester.
The protester, 28-year-old Garret Foster, was carrying an AK-47 rifle in downtown Austin when the shooting occurred.
Keep in mind, this was at a time when the entire nation was being set on fire by the BLM rioting toward the end of Donald Trump’s first term.
During the trial, Perry stated that the shooting was in self-defense.
Foster had approached Perry’s car, with witnesses stating that he did so to tell Perry to stop driving into the crowd.
Perry maintains that Foster raised his weapon, which is when Perry opened fire and killed him.
Perry was convicted, receiving a 25-year sentence for the murder.
Travis County District Attorney Jose Garza had a meltdown over the pardon, stating, “The board and the governor have put their politics over justice.
“They should be ashamed of themselves. Their actions are contrary to the law and demonstrate that there are two classes of people in this state where some lives matter and some lives do not.
“They have sent a message to Garrett Foster’s family, to his partner, and to our community that his life does not matter.”
Perry’s attorney, Douglas K. O’Connell, was in a slightly different mood, stating, “He wishes that this tragic event never happened and wishes he never had to defend himself against Mr. Foster’s unlawful actions.
“At the same time, Daniel recognizes that the Foster family is grieving. We are anxious to see Daniel reunited with his family and loved ones.”
When Abbott announced the pardon, he cited the “Stand Your Ground” law in Texas, stating, “Texas has one of the strongest ‘Stand Your Ground’ laws of self-defense that cannot be nullified by a jury or a progressive District Attorney.”
