(RestoreAmericanGlory.com) – On Sunday, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) blasted Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) for opposing providing more Ukraine aid. He also proceeded to challenge him to visit Ukraine, which has been torn by war for more than a year, before making any more statements about this issue.
Last week, The New York Times published an Op-Ed by Vance in which he argued that even if a new foreign aid bill for Ukraine was passed it could not change how the war in the country was going. He added that he did not believe there was a chance of Ukraine winning the war.
Vance had also rejected the claims of both the Democrats and President Joe Biden that it was the Republican party that was blocking Ukraine from defeating Russia. As he argued, the challenges faced by Ukraine were not because of the GOP but rather they were mathematical. He continued by saying that Ukraine required more soldiers.
During the interview, Vance also shared how he had just returned to the United States and that he had been there two weeks ago. Still, as he pointed out, the conscription laws were changed.
Graham on the other hand used the interview to challenge Vance to visit Ukraine and have a briefing from the Ukrainian military. He added that after talking with the Ukrainian people that is the time that he should let them know what to do.
In the past, Graham has been a huge supporter of Ukraine aid and has repeatedly stated that if Ukraine loses the war there would be ramifications.
