Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) held a top Biden staffer’s feet to the fire on Wednesday over claims made by the administration during the COVID-19 pandemic.
During a House Weaponization of the Federal Government Committee hearing, Jordan pressed Robert Flaherty, a former assistant to President Biden and the White House Director of Digital Strategy, about the administration’s policy on Covid “misinformation.”
“When the Biden administration told Americans that the vaccinated couldn’t get the virus, were they guessing or lying?” Jordan asked Flaherty.

Flaherty — one of two “primary players in the Biden White House censorship regime,” according to the Weaponization Committee –immediately attempted to downplay his role in the official Covid narrative.
“I think, first of all, it’s important to remember my role in this discussion,” Flaherty began, “which is as a communicator on behalf of–”
Jordan quickly cut him off, telling him, “You work for the Biden administration. You’re assistant to the president. It’s a simple question.”
“When they told the American people that, if you get the vaccine you will not get the virus, was that a guess or was that a lie?” he demanded to know.
As Flaherty insisted the White House was “communicating the best information, provided by some of the best medical scientists in the world,” Jordan interjected again.
“Let me ask you a simple question,” the lawmaker pressed. “Can the people who got the vaccine, could they still get the virus?”
“I’m not here as a medical expert,” Flaherty replied.
HAPPENING NOW: For the first time, the two primary players in the Biden White House censorship regime—Rob Flaherty and Andy Slavitt— testify and are questioned for their unconstitutional actions.

Noting that “of course” those who were vaccinated could still contract Covid, Jordan tried another approach.
“What’s the definition of misinformation?” he asked.
After agreeing that “misinformation” is “saying something that’s not accurate” and “disinformation” is “saying something that’s not accurate with the intent to mislead,” Jordan again asked, “When the Biden administration told the American people that the vaccinated couldn’t get the virus, was it misinformation or disinformation?”
And again, Flaherty provided no answer.
Nor did he have an answer for this question: “When the Biden administration told the American people that the virus didn’t come from a lab was that misinformation or disinformation?”
The digital communicator also couldn’t answer whether the administration’s claim that “masks work” or its assertion that “there was no such thing as natural immunity” was misinformation or disinformation.
“I am not a medical expert,” Flaherty repeated.
“You weren’t a medical expert, but you could suggest to Facebook that they needed to change their algorithm so that the American people would not see stuff from the Daily Wire, they’d only see stuff from The New York Times,” Jordan shot back. “You can do that, but you can’t tell me if they were guessing or lying when they said something that was absolutely not true?”
The brutal back-and-forth exposed what many Americans already suspected: During the most impactful crisis in modern American history, they’d been censored by liars.
“These were the ‘EXPERTS’ who silenced millions of Americans during the Cov*d pandemic,” wrote journalist Kyle Becker on X. “But it turns out the ‘EXPERTS’ were the biggest peddlers of misinformation and disinformation.”
“This was FRAUD on a massive scale,” Becker stated, “and people MUST be held accountable.”
“When the Biden administration told the American people that the vacc*nated couldn’t get the virus, was it MISINFORMATION or DISINFORMATION?”
