CDC’s Rochelle Walensky Berated For Finally Admitting Differentiations Between Deaths ‘With’ COVID-19 and Deaths ‘From’ COVID-19

On Sunday, Rochelle Walensky, the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) caught some criticism over her methodology of identifying COVID-19 deaths in the United States, making a sudden distinction between those who died “from” the virus and those who died “with” it.

During an appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Walensky was questioned about Americans who were already vaccinated who have gotten infected with the virus and whether anyone has died as a result of COVID-19, despite being vaccinated. Walensky said the CDC is aware of 223 so-called “break-through” infections in vaccinated Americans but spelled out that many of those people died due to other causes.

“Not all of those 223 cases who had COVID actually died of COVID,” she said. “They may have had mild disease but died, for example, of a heart attack.”

Wait, what? So NOW the CDC finally points out that many people who have died from other underlying conditions all along were being lumped in with people who have died from COVID. Could it be because this is now the Biden administration, and they didn’t want to get hammered with the same bullschtein statistics that the Left gave to the Trump administration? Do you think that would change the number of deaths from COVID that the Left loved to throw at Donald Trump daily?

Other critics hammered Walensky over her sudden revelation.

“So now, after all this time, we are going to start distinguishing died ‘with’ Covid from died ‘from’ Covid. How anyone lives with the dishonest reporting of numbers is beyond me.

Either we treat all the deaths with the same questioning or none of them, Period.”

Dave Young wrote: “So she literally just admitted that the covid death count isn’t a real count of covid deaths. The response to this pandemic gets more baffling by the day.”

Others recommended that all COVID-19 deaths should be investigated to find out whether the person died “from” the virus or “with” it.

What’s going on is the Congress made sure that extra PPE money went to hospitals for every COVID death because they had to use more gloves and better masks and whatnot for COVID patients than they would for other patients without the virus. True, a hospital making an incorrect diagnosis would be subject to recoupment and/or other potential civil or criminal charges for false claims, but who would have suspected it? To many, I bet it was worth the risk. This explains how we heard stories all throughout the pandemic about people who were taken to a hospital after a car accident and died but were listed as a COVID death and how people were listed as a COVID death but were never tested for COVID. The hospitals were getting money for each death, so naturally, they would pad their list by adding deaths to the list that were not from COVID-19.

I’m not the only one who thinks that there should be investigations into this but I also think that there should be criminal prosecutions as well. COVID became a national security thing and for hospital administrators to lie about the number of deaths due to COVID whether for political or monetary gain they need to be investigated and if it comes out that they lied about COVID deaths, they need to be prosecuted. Unfortunately, I don’t think that’s ever going to happen because their deceit helped the Democratic Party throughout the 2020 election cycle. The more deaths that were reported due to COVID the more the democrats were able to pile on former president Donald Trump as unnecessary deaths that he caused.

“Sounds like 500k cases need to be reviewed to more accurately distinguish ‘with’ and ‘from’,” one user said. “Hmm, thought I heard this same sentiment expressed in the past.”

Close to 47 percent of the adult population in the US is fully vaccinated, according to CDC data published, while close to 60 percent of the adult population has received at least one dose. The rate of people receiving a vaccination is predicted to rise following the Food and Drug Administration’s approval this week for the use of the Pfizer vaccine in children between the ages of 12 and 15.

Over 32 million Americans were infected with COVID-19. Over 582,000 people allegedly died from COVID, according to the CDC. Don’t hold your breath for the CDC to do a study on who died from COVID and who was incorrectly listed as having died from COVID.
