Over the years, the annual WEST conference in San Diego has transformed from a meeting of the Navy’s networking and tech community to a truly high-level event, drawing key leaders across the country in order to discuss the service’s future.
This year was no different, with Secretary of the Navy Carlos Del Toro headlining a roster that included a collection of top admirals and civilians. Which doesn’t mean the conference has become just about the platforms. The show still maintains its core competency, with a focus on networks, communications, cyber and information warfare.
As a result, we’re bring you the collection features stories that run the gamut from broad policy in the Indo-Pacific to how the Marines plan to implement JADC2 concepts.
