Help Wanted! Open Positions in the Battle for Freedom

In the wake of all the voting irregularities and preliminary evidence of election fraud last year, I’ve lost all confidence in the integrity of our voting system. As I see it, if we want to save our Constitutional Republic and our freedom, we have no choice but to get involved in our local politics. Living in California as a registered Republican, this is not a new feeling. So many times I’ve relied on my party to come up with ways to prevent voter fraud. Many conservatives like me, that are  living in “blue states” feel as if their vote never counts. Today I am left with this enormous urge to get involved and create change with more than just my vote. I’ve been researching and educating myself on my local election laws and processes. The journey is intimidating, but I feel encouraged to get started.

So far I’ve learned about vacant positions such as Committeeman, available statewide and nationwide. Committeemen vacancies can be filled by any registered voters such as you and I to affect local precincts and counties. Identify an area to volunteer and get involved today. We have 18 months to see the fruits of our labor at midterm elections and primaries. The work does not start in 12 months or 18, it begins now.

I’ve also learned about the National Ballot Access (NBA). A professional for-profit organization started by political activist E. Mary Baggett in 2007 (National Ballot Access – Ballotpedia). Mrs. Baggett was recently interviewed on a Zoom call regarding the recall of Governor Gavin Newsom in California, and I was fortunate enough to be a listener. She was inspirational by sharing her volunteer experience at the beginning of her political career. It revealed how much work happens behind the scenes, from outreach on an initiative to placing someone’s name on a ballot. Mrs. Baggett and her organization were one of those key organizers responsible for putting President Donald J. Trump on ballots during his 2016 campaign.

Mrs. Baggett spoke of her involvement with state referendums. A referendum happens when representatives or legislators do something in your government that did not ask for voter input. In most states, these referendums have a very short statute of limitations and fast action is required. Moreover, every referendum Mrs. Baggett have initiated has been successfully reversed. A good resource to find out about referendums happening in your state is More recently, Mrs. Baggett with her National Ballot Access organization has been collecting signatures to recall California Governor Gavin Newsom. Today the California Governor recall reportedly counts with more than the required 1.5 million signatures before the March 17, 2021 deadline (Gavin Newsom recall, Governor of California (2019-2021) – Ballotpedia).

Ballotpedia also has a You Tube channel with informative videos , see here.

It is so easy to complain about how the 2020 election turned out, but how many of us heard President Trump when he warned about “mail-in ballots?” Referendums are some of the tools available to us to reverse government over-reach. So many of us were caught off guard by a stolen election with the pandemic excuse last year.

It is time to join the battle for freedom and reclaim/reform the Republican party of conservative patriots with President Trump leading the way.
