The afternoon session of day one of CPAC was headlined by Donald Trump Jr. and Missouri Senator Josh Hawley.
Hawley has been accused of inciting an insurrection for simply objecting to the presidential election results.
In response, Big Tech, House Democrats, and even a major book publisher have tried to cancel him, but he responded that “I am not going anywhere and not backing down!”
That statement drew a large roar from the CPAC crowd.
Senator Hawley said this is “one of the great moments of crisis in American history” because radical liberals and large corporations have formed an alliance.
The radical Left thinks that rights come from Google, not from God.
Hawley then made headlines by calling for Big Tech to be broken up.
Following Hawley, Donald Trump Jr. took the stage and brought the fire as always.
He went right after Biden from the word go for ending the Keystone Pipeline and for bombing the Middle East, making the case that Biden is giving the Military Industrial Complex a revamp after four years of the Trump administration pulling us out of endless wars.
He saved his best stuff for Liz Cheney, who he dubbed “Lincoln Project Liz Cheney” as being a member of the old GOP pre-Trump that constantly got us in foreign wars, a clear reference to her father, former Vice President Dick Cheney.
He claimed that the Cheneys and the old guard GOP are why the GOP needed the jolt provided by Donald Trump in the first place.
Don Jr. concluded by teasing his father’s comeback speech on Sunday by saying that it won’t be “low energy” and that he can say that Trump’s speech will “solidify the MAGA movement.”
Check back with FreedomWire throughout the weekend for updates and on Monday as we review the highly anticipated comeback CPAC speech of former President Donald Trump.
