(TeaParty.org Exclusive) – On Sunday, former top advisor to President Donald Trump, Steven Miller, appeared on Maria Bartiromo’s Sunday Morning Futures on the Fox News Channel.
During their conversation, he revealed how absolutely insanely radical the Democrats’ latest immigration plan is—this is jaw-dropping stuff.
“The legislation put forward by President Biden and congressional Democrats would fundamentally erase the very essence of America’s nationhood. For the first time, I believe, in human history, this legislation proposes sending applications to previously deported illegal immigrants and giving them the chance to reenter the country on a rapid path to citizenship,” he explained.
“This is unheard of. These are the people that ICE officers at great time and expense found large numbers of them with criminal records return to their home countries at tax payer expense and now we’re going to have the Secretary of State and Homeland Security mailing applications for readmission and amnesty to previously deported illegal immigrants? This is madness! This is on top of the fact that the current administration dismantled border security,” he continued.
Last week, Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ) and Rep. Linda Sanchez (D-CA) revealed the wide-sweeping plan in the Senate and the House.
The provision is a laundry list of the most fantastical open borders, pro-illegal immigration, pro-criminal illegal alien far-left policy proposal you could possibly imagine.
It’s sheer insanity.
Among other things, it would broadly extend paths to citizenship for undocumented workers, wave in criminal illegal aliens, and formally replace the word “alien” with “non-citizen” in law.
Interestingly enough—and here’s where we see the man behind the border—it also proposes to expand nation building in Central America to address the root cause of illegal immigration.
Big League Politics notes that Preston Huennekens of the Federation for American Immigration Reform described the proposed legislation for his part as “largest amnesty bill ever proposed in the history of the United States.”
“Under this bill, every illegal alien in America would be placed on the pathway to citizenship. Like all legislative boondoggles, the bill is 353 pages long with a section-by-section summary of the bill having a total of 60 pages. Huennekens argues that the ‘bill’s length is a testament to the sweeping changes that Biden and his congressional Democratic allies want to make to the immigration system of the United States,’” they explain.
While the bill only had five sections, Huennekens noted that “there are zero enhancements to border security or asylum reform, in stark contrast to prior efforts (e.g. the 2013 Gang of Eight proposal) that paired large amnesties with enforcement measures such as mandatory E-Verify or metrics requirements for border enforcement.”
