Pro-Palestine activists went on a rampage across the United States Monday, shutting down major highways, bridges and airport entrances.
Some of the activists burned U.S. flags, and chanted, “Death to America,” right on American streets.
In San Francisco, they shut down the Golden Gate Bridge for hours, leaving commuters stranded in their vehicles on the bridge. While many questioned why it took so long for police to get the activists off the bridge, new details have surfaced about the ordeal officials faced to get them removed.
The protesters had hooked themselves up to cement-filled barrels, and were holding on to a piece of rebar stuck through a pipe in the barrel, and refused to let go.
The California Highway Patrol announced on social media, “We received numerous calls today asking why we didn’t just arrest protesters as soon as we arrived. The photos below along with video on our other social media channels show what officers had to work through before making arrests.”
A video shared on social media shows officials had to cut the barrel open, then cut the pipe the protester had stuck his arm through. He is still holding fast to the metal rebar, refusing to let go.
They cut the rebar, and he needlessly yells, as if they are hurting him. They repeatedly tell him to let go of the bar, but he refuses.
They finally have to pry his fingers apart, so they can pull the rebar from his hand, then pulled his arm from the other side of the pipe.
All the while, the activist is howling in protest.

Everyone is still not convinced that clearing the bridge should have taken five hours.
Why did it take you hours to do something?
You should have started clearing these lawless domestic terrorists out the moment you arrived on the scene.
Shame on you.
Do it like Florida. They don’t put up with it there.

Y’all stood around and tolerated it for hours.

It took you 5 hrs to clear the bridge. Sorry until the minute by minute report is made public and media can ask questions to @CHPCommissioner, you get an F.

You needed to physically clear them the moment that they started in the roadway.
Why didn’t you?
