Democrats no longer exist in the reality-based world with one prime example being the rant of a House lawmaker who insists that the Ukrainian border is more important than that of the United States.
Before Saturday’s vote to give $61 billion in tax dollars stolen from Americans to the notoriously corrupt Eastern European country for the continuation of the proxy war with Russia, Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-VA) raved about the importance of funding a border conflict on the other side of the planet.
Connolly, a fulminating anti-Trump hysteric who recently introduced legislation to rename a Miami federal prison after the former president, reacted to Republicans who insist that the top priority should be the southern border and the ongoing illegal alien invasion.
The America Last Uniparty in a nutshell:

“Some say, well, we have to deal with our border first,” the congressman brayed. “The Ukrainian-Russian border is our border! It’s the border between depraved autocracy and freedom loving people seeking our democratic way of life! Do we have a stake in that outcome? Yes. Undeniably, yes.”
“Today, I was proud to vote for President Biden’s security supplemental funding package which will finally deliver what Ukraine desperately needs to defend its sovereign territory. I will continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with our Ukrainian brothers and sisters, who for 1,151 days have been holding off Vladimir Putin’s depraved and brutal invasion of their homeland,” Connolly said in a statement.
“Ukraine represents the front line of the fight between freedom and repression. Between democracy and autocracy. Between those who carry the flame of democratic ambition and those who aim to extinguish it,” he added, a view that is out of step with the priorities of the majority of Americans who are being crushed by inflation.
The Virginia Democrats’ twisted priorities about his responsibility to America drew a strong response from X users.
This has got to be a joke!!! This is offensive to all Americans.

Ukraines border is unequivocally NOT our border. Do you need a map? A geography lesson. You’re a traitor.

Was that in your oath to defend Ukraine’s border? I don’t think so. How about we close up our border that the idea?

Hopefully Russia will get serious about this conflict and take over the entire country of Ukraine and help American taxpayers out, because our so called representatives are nothing more than treasonous criminals!

Dear Lord help us. Like a scene out of Simpsons but it’s real life

On Saturday, Connolly’s fellow Democrats engaged in an unseemly spectacle when they celebrated the passage of the gift to the un-Democratic Zelenskyy regime by breaking out little blue and yellow Ukraine flags and waving them on the House floor.

The predecessors of modern Democrats from a less-radicalized era were at least invested in the safety and security of the domestic U.S. – which includes the border – and it’s hard to imagine the party’s old guard ever rolling out the welcome mat for the millions of impoverished, unskilled foreigners who have entered the country since Joe Biden took office.
But it’s not a priority, just take it from Rep. Connolly.
