A leaked pitch deck obtained by the Daily Caller reveals a strategic effort by a former communications staffer from Vivek Ramaswamy’s 2024 presidential campaign to enlist support from pro-Trump and conservative figures in bolstering content favoring Robert F. Kennedy Jr (RFK).
Zach Henry, who previously served as the Deputy Communications Director for Ramaswamy’s campaign, has launched his own venture called Total Virality.
The venture is reportedly receiving compensation from the Kennedy campaign.
Financial records from the Federal Election Commission (FEC) indicate that RFK Jr.’s campaign disbursed nearly $8,000 to Total Virality in March for “influencer engagement.”
The leaked pitch deck showcases Henry’s collaboration with RFK., featuring screenshots of notable conservative X users.
The Daily Caller highlighted that slide three of the deck showcases Total Virality’s role in amplifying RFK’s State of the Union (SOTU) video.
“RFK’s team contracted Total Virality to help boost his SOTU video,” the slide stated.
“The original agreed upon goal was 4M views…We delivered 6M views in the first 24 hours leveraging a custom list of influencers – many of whom were already in our network as well as others we added specifically to this project,” it added.
“It is now RFK’s most-viewed video ever on X,” it continued.
The same slide presents screenshots of several prominent X users sharing RFK’s SOTU response video, including ardent Trump supporters and other conservative figures such as Scott Adams, Alex Jones, Oli London, Ian Miles Cheong, and Joey Mannarino.
A source closely associated with Ramaswamy affirmed that the former candidate, now a surrogate for Trump, was displeased upon learning about Henry’s involvement with RFK.
The source also revealed that Henry was promptly terminated from their contract due to a “conflict of interest.”
“This is just creating such a f***ing headache,” the source lamented. “I don’t want to bury the kid but he has played this all horribly.”
Inquiries made by the Daily Caller to individuals featured in the leaked pitch deck sought clarification on whether they received compensation for promoting RFK.
Each interviewee denied receiving payment and reiterated their allegiance to Trump, per the outlet.
“I have never been paid to promote RFK Jr. and have posted things slamming him and his insane Leftist VP candidate a few times,” Mannarino, a pro-Trump podcast host, stated.
“I do not support RFK Jr. and never have supported RFK Jr. I have been with Trump since 2016 and will be until the moment he leaves office in January 2029,” he told Daily Caller.
Mannarino further mentioned his acquaintance with the founder of Total Virality from previous campaigns, but emphasized his reluctance to endorse RFK, especially given the campaign’s apparent shift towards targeting Trump.
Ezra Levant, founder of Rebel News, adamantly refuted any involvement with Henry’s campaign, asserting, “It’s not true. I’ve never been hired or paid by the RFK Jr. campaign or anyone else — my tweets are whatever I find interesting. Occasionally politicians or their staff send me tweets, and if they interest me I might retweet them.”
Levant dismissed the notion that his posts were part of any orchestrated effort, suggesting, “I think this is a case of some consultant trying to take credit (and bill for) my tweets.”
He clarified Rebel News’ advertising practices, stating, “We do sell ads at Rebel News but I don’t believe any American campaign has ever bought any. Of course anything paid for is clearly marked as an ad.”
A political consultant, speaking on condition of anonymity, confirmed Levant’s skepticism, stating, “I certainly have seen it before… it’s quite deceiving.”
Lavern Spicer, a Republican congressional candidate from Florida, expressed her disdain for RFK, declaring he “can kiss my Black a** and I never been paid to promote RFK in my life.”
Henry, when approached for comment, accused the Trump campaign of intimidating conservatives who had previously expressed support for Kennedy.
He asserted, “Contrary to popular belief, there are social media influencers out there whose brands are not strictly political and who share a wide variety of content.”
Henry explained his involvement with RFK’s team, stating, “Concerning Kennedy, I helped on a project for his team back in March, two months after I had left Vivek’s campaign.”
He lamented the alleged intimidation tactics employed by the Trump campaign, stating, “Sadly, I have learned in the past 24 hours that certain Trump campaign employees are hunting down conservative influencers who have shared RFK-related content on their personal accounts in the past, interrogating them on if they were paid to do so.”
