Amid the COVID-19 controversy involving the National Institutes of Health and former National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director Dr. Anthony Fauci, General Mike Flynn joins millions of Americans in demanding justice and accountability.
The two government agencies have been in hot water since Thursday after NIH’s Dr. Lawrence Tabak confessed that the taxpayers funded the gain-of-function research in the Wuhan lab that resulted in the COVID-19 virus.
It took them four years before Dr. Tabak acknowledged that the NIH had given the Wuhan lab through the EcoHealth alliance the money to create a global pandemic.
During the congressional hearing, the NIH acting director told Rep. Debbie Lasko (R-Arizona), “It depends on your definition of gain-of-function research,” attempting to obfuscate a simple, and easy-to-grasp term.
Tabak added that such research, which he claims is “research that goes on in many, many labs around the country,” does not pose any “threat or harm to anybody.”
However, that is not the case with COVID-19, which has killed millions around the globe.
The truth? Tabak and Fauci intend to avoid accountability for being involved in risky research that produced a pathogen resulting in another pandemic.
Responding to Elon Musk’s post “Prosecute/Fauci” on X, Flynn said: “Fauci and many others must be immediately indicted for crimes against humanity and they need to spend the rest of their lives in prison.”
Musk retweeted a post from Paul D. Thacker on X, featuring the front page of the New York Post blasting Fauci and his lies on the COVID-19 virus, which originated at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
“It’s only going to get worse for these liars,” Thacker wrote.
The Tesla CEO has campaigned the same line since last year, which earned a response from Tony Fauci on CNN, where he said: “Prosecute me for what? What are they talking about?”
“Dr. Fauci was literally shaking while he blatantly lied to Congress (again) about funding Gain of Function research in Wuhan, China,” @DschlopeIsBck said.
“We also need to prosecute those at the Pentagon that spent over $40 million in US tax dollars funding the development of COVID in the Wuhan lab. Fauci was just a mid-level player, @elonmusk,” Tara Servatius added.
X users also share previous testimonies of Dr. Fauci vehemently denying that the NIH funded the gain-of-function research in Wuhan.
“Proof that Dr. Fauci lied to Congress about NIH funding gain-of-function research in Wuhan. Prosecute Fauci!” wrote Paul Szypula.
