Eric Zemmour: ‘France in danger of dying due to the Great Replacement’

On Friday, September 11, on the show Face à l’Info on CNews, the leftist journalist turned politician Laurent Joffrin took on columnist Eric Zemmour. The two men discussed current hot topics: immigration, the left, colonization and the coming French presidential election.

Joffrin had worked as the editor for leftist screed Libération previously. He has been accused by philosopher Michel Onfray of minimizing the most serious sexual abuses against children in the Gabriel Matzneff affair when he was editor of the newspaper.

Zemmour gave his point of view on the issue of immigration. For him, the country was facing “two challenges”, in particular “the Great Replacement and the Great Downgrading”. He added: “France is in danger of dying because of these two big challenges.”

The columnist continued: “You don’t understand what’s going on. How can you be an example [of society] when you are in danger of dying?”

Zemmour said Laurent Joffrin’s ideas came from “the left of the 80s”. “The result: millions of immigrants have arrived. This gives us an untenable situation with Emmanuel Macron who talks about Islamic separatism,” he said.

The columnist finally addressed the flaws of family reunification, acclaimed by the left. By doing so, “It can no longer be called immigration… It’s called colonization.”
