Nick Fuentes, the controversial right-wing provacatuer who was recently reinstated to X by Afrikaner billionare Elon Musk on free speech grounds, has made a pithy debut in his return to the platform, posting a SpongeBob Squarepants

The meme depicts SpongeBob SquarePants supporting character Patrick Star entering a room behind swinging saloon doors, ready to get to business and kick ass.
As previously reported by Resist the Mainstream:
Elon Musk announced Thursday that he will unban conservative political commentator Nick Fuentes from X. Should Fuentes come back to X, it’s expected that his handle will be @NickJFuentes. This comes just a day after the House passed what many believe to be an anti-free speech bill that aims to criminalize various actions that are deemed “antisemitic,” including speech matters such as making claims that the Jews killed Jesus.
“Very well, he will be reinstated, provided he does not violate the law, and let him be crushed by the comments and Community Notes,” Musk said as he commented on a post by the @DefiantLs X page. “It is better to have anti whatever out in the open to be rebutted than grow simmering in the darkness.”

This revelation came after Musk commented on a post that featured a Fuentes quote that he “admit[s] to being openly philosemitic, and generally [tries] to see the good in all people.”
While I don’t condone all the actions of any one group, I must admit to being openly philosemitic, and generally try to see the good in all people

An account then demanded that Musk “Bring Nick Fuentes back on Twitter,” in addition to asking, “He has been banned since 2021, what happened to your promise big guy?”
Musk, who has often been labeled a “free speech absolutist,” made the pledge to bring Fuentes back soon after.
Fuentes is considered controversial by many and, as he personally acknowledges, is known for his raw approach to discussing various political and cultural issues.
The truth is polarizing and few have the boldness to speak truth and face the consequences of unpopular speech. Conservatives want to be liked by liberals, women, minorities. Nick Fuentes is independent, free thinking, and on no one’s payroll. This is why they keep him censored… pic.twitter.com/7rBZWN7wSa

Reactions to Musk’s pledge quickly followed. The Babylon Bee CEO and Founder Seth Dillon declared in reaction to the news: “You don’t have to like what someone says to support their right to say it. Anyone who isn’t breaking the law (e.g., calling for violence, making threats, etc.) should be permitted to speak in the public square. If you don’t like what they have to say, respond with more speech or tune them out.”

Former UFC/MMA fighter Jake Shields commented: “I don’t think this is gonna go how he thinks it is but glad he’s bringing free speech back.“

Some have questioned the timing of Musk’s announcement, noticing it occurred just after the aforementioned “antisemitism” bill that was just passed by the House.
The timing of this is peculiar.
Musk has ignored the requests to reinstate Nick’s account for years.
Based on his response here, he clearly knows exactly who Nick is & what he speaks about.
Why would Musk suddenly decide to do this now? A day after this antisemitism bill was…

This planned reinstatement comes about a half year after Musk reinstated the X-account of Alex Jones, a popular political commentator who, much like Fuentes, often draws ire from the mainstream media. The state-funded PBS, for instance, immediately ran a headline on the matter titled, “Elon Musk restores conspiracy theorist Alex Jones’ X account, reversing Twitter’s ban.”
