As the entire country is experiencing a decrease in homelessness, California’s number of homeless continue to grow.
The stronghold that Democrats have had on at each level of legislature in California has drained the upper class and put so many restrictions on the working class, that there are paywalls preventing growth and expansion. California is notorious for money from extraordinarily high taxes not reaching the people in need of the resources and this is the environment that causes the rate of homelessness in California to grow faster than every other state combined.
Despite these worsening conditions, Californian Gov. Gavin Newsom tweeted his expensive advice to the world that doctors’ prescription powers should exceed medication and extend to shelter.
Doctors should be able to write prescriptions for housing the same way they do for insulin or antibiotics.

Social media immediately responded hurling the regulations that target the working class and prevent access to affordable housing in California under Newsom’s policies.
Daily Wire reported on the perspective offered to the governor by Sen. Ted Cruz.
On Monday morning, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), who routinely clobbers leftist politicians on Twitter when they assert something outrageous, targeted California governor Gavin Newsom for his ridiculous pronouncement in his State of the State address that a way to solve the rampant homelessness in his state was to have doctors write prescriptions for housing.
Newsom tweeted a snippet of the address, writing, “Doctors should be able to write prescriptions for housing the same way they do for insulin or antibiotics.”
Cruz decided he had heard enough fanciful nonsense, tweeting, “This is the Leftist mind: write a slip of paper & a house will magically appear. Never mind that the person doesn’t have a job, the contractor can’t get a CA permit to build the house, rent control has caused a housing shortage & homeless people are crapping on the doorstep.”
This is a man that brags about “tax free tampons”.

Ted Cruz did not leave Gov. Newsom alone after the initial call for the new power to the be entrusted with doctors and the responsibility of the taxpayers for providing. When the governor tweeted out the number of Californians struggling with a mental illness, Cruz tweeted back, pushing the blame back onto Newsom and his Democrat peers.
Maybe stop giving them needles that they leave en masse in public parks? And refusing to prosecute them when they engage in theft or vandalism? How ‘bout drug treatment programs instead? https://t.co/r7MXQ5rJYl

Sen. Ted Cruz has a reputation for using social media to distribute facts to leftists that sentence future generations to unpayable entitlements and an economy void of competition and profit. This is another situation where he stepped in and illuminated the bigger picture surrounding the homeless crisis in California.
