Virginia United States Senate candidate Scott Parkinson is attempting to sell Virginia GOP voters that he is an ally of President Trump. However, facts point to something totally different. FEC records show that top donors to Parkinson gave to Tim Scott in the 2024 GOP Presidential Primary. Other top donors to Parkinson also gave to Texas Rep Dan Crenshaw, who has consistently attacked President Trump and praised Liz Cheney. Some of Parkinson’s top donors even gave to Never Trump Ohio U.S. Senate candidate Matt Dolan. Parkinson’s donors should come as no shock as Loomer Unleashed reported Former Williams & Jensen Principal Dan Ziegler donated to Virginia U.S. Senate Candidate Scott Parkinson. Williams & Jensen is a Washington D.C.-based lobbying firm with pro-Ukraine funding ties. This all makes clear that Virginia GOP voters must ensure Parkinson is defeated at the ballot box.
FEC records show that top Parkinson donor Goran Hagg supports Dan Crenshaw too. Hagg also gave to Ron DeSantis in the 2024 GOP Presidental Primary. It should be no surprise that DeSantis donors donated to Parkinson, as Parkinson was previously a high-ranking DeSantis staffer.
Crenshaw has consistently attacked President Trump and prised Members of Congress who have attempted to “get MAGA.” Crenshaw once wrote on X, “Let’s get some truth on the record: @Liz_Cheney has a hell of a lot more backbone than most, & is a principled leader with a fierce intellect. She will continue to be a much needed leader in the conference, with my full support. We can disagree without tearing eachother apart.”
FEC records also show that top Parkinson’s donor Kristen Stein gave to Never Trump Ohio United States Senate candidate Matt Dolan.
Dolan’s January 6th talking points sound very similar to Joe Biden’s, “The US capitol protest is a failure of leadership. Starting with @realdonaltrump too many so called leaders perpetuated lies about the outcome of the November 2020 election. And the people who trust their leadership believes them. Real leaders lead not manipulate. Truth matters.”
Parkinson’s Uniparty support should come as no surprise. Loomer Unleashed recently reported that FEC records show that Dan Ziegler donated to Scott Parkinson on April 26th, 2023.
When Ziegler donated to Parkinson, his employer was Williams & Jensen, a D.C.-based firm that prides itself on supporting Ukraine. A post from Williams & Jensen’s X account reads, “W&J Principal Eric Stewart has rallied dozens of companies to form the American-Ukrainian Business Council, tasked with strengthening ties between U.S. businesses & Ukraine. In just 5 days, the group raised $70M for economic relief.”
On November 1st, 2023, Speaker Johnson announced that “Dan Ziegler will serve as Director of Policy” for the Speaker. Ziegler has been an integral part of Johnson’s operation, as Ziegler previously ran the Republican Study Committee Meetings when Johnson was RSC Chairman in 2018. Ziegler serving as Johnson’s Director of Policy means he played a critical role in helping pass the latest round of Ukraine aid.
Scott Parkinson is much more interested in being an ally to his Uniparty friends than helping MAGA. This is why it is critical that Virginia GOP voters soundly beat Parkinson at the ballot box.
