Popular children’s YouTuber Ms. Rachel has found herself in more hot water after posting a video celebrating pride month.
Fox News reported that parents and X users have since called on others to boycott the content creator entirely, with some blasting her comments for being “lazy” and “close-minded.”
Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh ripped the “extremely popular YouTuber” on X, adding that her celebrity pride post is specifically meant for conservative moms and dads.
“She doesn’t want your business. You should respond accordingly,” Walsh directed his followers.
Libs of TikTok echoed this sentiment, further adding, “she doesn’t want your business if you don’t subscribe to the child m*tiIat*on cult. Pass it on!”
Ms. Rachel, who has amassed over 10 million subscribers on YouTube as of 2024, addressed parents who won’t continue to watch her content at the end of her highly controversial TikTok, stating, “that’s okay, I stand in love.”
She started her video off by saying, “Happy pride to all of our wonderful families and friends! This month and every month, I celebrate you.”
“I’m so glad you’re here. I’m so glad you’re exactly who you are,” she continued.
One X user torched these statements from the YouTube star, writing, “Instead of hearing what these people might say regarding the matter and how they love their children and want to protect them from politicizing or sexually suggestive content, she calls them hateful.”
“She embodies a brand of liberalism I have grown to really distaste. It is lazy and unintelligent and in fact quite close-minded,” the account added, to which another account replied, “ … the meaning of the word love is not ‘maximum acceptance of all behavior’ which is what the left has bastardized it to mean.”
Some accounts like Classically Abby shared their reasoning behind saying “bye” to Ms. Rachel. While one mom said “Ms. Rachel deserves a Target treatment.”
Others shared alternatives to the YouTube channel that primarily directs its content towards babies and toddlers.
The YouTuber recently found herself amidst controversy after leaving a concerning comment on one of Dylan Mulvaney’s social media posts.
“Sometime when you’re in NYC you should be on our show, Songs for Littles! We love you & your singing,” Ms. Rachel posted, according to The Blast.
The outlet reported that this comment sparked backlash from parents, with many vowing to never let their children watch the YouTuber’s show again.
Some parents were not surprised about Ms. Rachel’s recent remarks about pride month, considering her show “Songs for Littles!” hosts a YouTuber named Jules Hoffman who uses they/them pronouns, per Rolling Stone.
Ms. Rachel’s website showcases all of the channel’s creators, accompanying each with their respective pronouns.
Rolling Stone reported that one episode even featured a lesson about pronouns, which social media users quickly took issue with.
The controversy surrounding Hoffman’s inclusion has since resurfaced following Ms. Rachel’s recent pride month post.
“You can tell from youtube’s ‘most replayed’ feature that parents are skipping the segments involving ms. rachel’s gender confused co-star,” one account named Sarah Doe highlighted, showing a screenshot of a video where Hoffman’s clips are skipped.
“Normal parents don’t want their children exposed to this insanity,” Doe added.
Some parents, however, are defending Ms. Rachel over her controversial pride statements and for her inclusion of Hoffman.
Doe documented in a follow up post official merchandise from Hoffman where the proceeds go to “an organization that brings LGBT propaganda to schoolchildren.”
Doe continued, arguing, “children are sponges. normalization tactics work very well on them because they don’t know what normal is yet.”
“It doesn’t take them saying outright ‘this lifestyle is good!’ to convince babies and toddlers that it is,” the account added.
