Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is engaging in fearmongering over a Supreme Court review of an Idaho abortion law, the Washington Examiner reported. Clinton called a bill that would save countless babies “horrible.”
Clint was triggered by an Idaho law that bans abortions except in the narrowest of cases. Notably, it does allow for exceptions when the mother’s life is in danger.
President Joe Biden’s administration has sued the state over the law, claiming it conflicted with the Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act. Under that federal law, a person can’t be denied lifesaving treatment, so the high court will consider whether abortion falls under that standard.
The Supreme Court is currently hearing oral arguments to determine whether Idaho’s law is valid in light of the nationwide statute, and experts believe they might side with the state. Clinton, who is a twice-failed Democratic presidential candidate, is warning that it’s a threat to women’s rights.
The Strategy
As Biden’s disastrous term as president comes to a close, Democrats have resorted to the abortion issue to run on. Clinton has taken up their crusade against Trump using the high court’s latest moves.
“Breaking: The MAGA Supreme Court majority appears ready to rule that the right to ‘life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness’ doesn’t extend to women with pregnancy complications or who otherwise need abortions. This is horrifying, and it is because of Donald Trump,” Clinton posted to X, formerly Twitter, on Wednesday.

Democrats have dusted off Clinton and her shopworn arguments about abortion just in time to give Biden some sort of lifeline for his reelection. “We won’t allow our daughters and granddaughters to grow up with fewer rights than we had,” Clinton said in a later post, which also referenced the year 1864 due to another pro-life law recently upheld from that year.

Democrat Hypocrisy
When not whipping up abortion-minded women into a frenzy, Clinton resorts to her other strategy of smearing Trump as a stooge for Russian President Vladimir Putin. Recently, she claimed that Trump envies the dictator because he “does what Trump would like to do” as a leader.
“Trump was like, you know, just gaga over Putin because Putin does what Trump would like to do — kill his opposition, imprison his opposition, drive journalists and others into exile, rule without any check or balance. That’s what Trump really wants,” Clinton claimed on the podcast Defending Democracy earlier this week.
Meanwhile, Democrats and their leftist accomplices in the judicial system have launched a concerted effort to stifle Trump’s chances during the 2024 campaign, Fox News reported. The first of several criminal trials has begun in New York thanks to partisan Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.
Trump rightly pointed out that “numerous other agencies” looked at the alleged hush money payments he made to a former porn star but did not prosecute. Somehow, Bragg found something they didn’t just in time to thwart Trump’s 2024 campaign.
Clinton is acting as a mouthpiece for the Democratic party as she continues to sink into irrelevance. Still, Democrats are at a disadvantage and seem willing to try anything to make sure Trump doesn’t end up in the White House again.
