VIDEO: Madonna has a message for Pope Francis about Jesus and abortion

The Daily Wire:

Madonna wants a meeting with Pope Francis to discuss abortion, the 60-year-old revealed during an interview with Australian journalist Andrew Denton. According to the pop icon, Jesus would be completely on board with abortion, viewing it as a “woman’s right to choose,” not the ending of an innocent human life.

“Let’s talk about Jesus’ point of view about women. Let’s talk about it,” Madonna said of a hypothetical meeting with the pope on an episode of “Andrew Denton’s Interview,” The Daily Mail reported.

The article goes on to state the following:

The two leading questions Madonna said she would pose to Pope Francis were, “What do you really think he thought of women? And don’t you think Jesus would agree that a woman has the right to choose what to do with her body?”

Pope Francis has been adamant about the evils of abortion. Time reports on these comments from the Pope on abortion from May 2019:

Speaking to a Vatican-sponsored anti-abortion conference, Francis said the opposition to abortion isn’t a religious issue but a human one.

“Is it licit to throw away a life to resolve a problem?” he asked. “Is it licit to hire a hitman to resolve a problem?”

Francis denounced decisions to abort based on prenatal testing, saying a human being is “never incompatible with life.”

Despite the Pope’s stance on abortion, Madonna still feels she might get her audience with him. She told Denton, “I think he would be open to having that conversation with me.”
