Megyn Kelly delivered an epic takedown of CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin for his glaring lack of self-awareness.
Toobin’s infamous 2020 incident in which he exposed himself masturbating during a Zoom call with colleagues at The New Yorker cost him his job at the magazine and some months off from CNN. Less than one year later, Toobin was back on CNN and addressed his “deeply moronic and indefensible” behavior.
But he evidently thought he was free to disparage others on social media and soon learned that he couldn’t outrun his past.
“In oral argument today, Justice Thomas is minimizing the severity of the 1/6 insurrection at the Capitol. Perhaps that’s because his wife was part of the conspiracy,” he wrote on X. “What a disgrace that he’s sitting on this case.”
Toobin was referring to the U.S. Supreme Court hearing an appeal on the Justice Department’s use of the obstruction law as it pertains to the January 6, 2021 event at the U.S. Capitol.
In no time, Megyn Kelly ripped into the scandal-plagued legal analyst.
“Hi Toobin – fyi you waived your right to use the term “disgraced” about other lawyers when you took your dick out of your pants and jerked off in front of your colleagues,” the host of “The Megyn Kelly Show,” wrote on X.

Barely two hours after her post, Kelly’s comments on X had racked up over 200,000 views and 15,000 “likes.”
The social media responses continued to pour in:
This should be an inspirational poster

Evidently, Toobin’s account on X has restricted replies.
I wonder why he has locked replies? pic.twitter.com/LiShw6gDVR

Toobin restricted responses. Because of course he did.

And he just shut down replies!

Some users had a problem with Toobin’s other choice of words.
You think he would at least refrain from using the phrase “oral argument” lol.
— Justin Shultz (@JustinShultz19) April 16, 2024
He is still allowed to use “oral arguments” but should refrain from using Hand signals
— BN (@BhasNara) April 16, 2024
But most were just “rekd” by Kelly’s fiery response.
