POLL: Will Bernie Sanders win the 2020 Democratic nomination?

Senator Bernie Sanders finally took the plunge on Tuesday, announcing that he is officially running for President of the United States – again.

According to a report by The Hill, polls are already putting Sanders as the number two top contender for the Democratic nomination, right behind former Vice-President Joe Biden, who is reportedly still considering making a run for it himself.

Sanders, 77, a socialist, attracted a large majority of millennials in his 2016 race, as he promised to give everyone free healthcare and free education.

Reportedly, he raised over $4 million in the first 12 hours after he announced he was running on Saturday.

When asked about Sanders’ big announcement on Tuesday, President Trump said he wished him well, but added, “Personally I think he missed his time.”
