BREAKING: Chilling details emerge from newly-released criminal complaint against Jayme Closs’s abductor

Jayme Closs cowered in the bathroom with her mom as Jake Patterson shot her father in the head then watched in horror as he did the same to her mom minutes after kicking in the flimsy door.

Dressed in black from head to toe including a face mask, hat and gloves Patterson grabbed the terrified teenager, taped her hands and ankles together, covered her mouth with tape and dragged her out of her home to his waiting car.

The article goes on to state the following:

According to Jayme her abductor then bundled into the trunk and drove her approximately two hours to the cabin where he would hold her for the next three months.

The horrifying details of the Closs murders and Jayme’s abduction have emerged for the first time in the criminal complaint filed today ahead of Patterson’s first court appearance in Barron County Circuit Court.

According to Jayme’s account Patterson took her into the cabin, removed the tape from her mouth, hands and ankles and told her to go into the bathroom and remove all her clothes.

He made her put the clothes in which she had been abducted into a bag, making some comment about ‘not having evidence.’

Fox9 News reporter Paul Blume has been tweeting details from the criminal complaint just released Monday by Barron County officials.  Blume is in the Barron County courtroom, where the man accused of kidnapping Jayme and killing her parents is making his first court appearance via a video conference.

Patterson reportedly decided to kidnap Jayme after seeing her get off a school bus while he was on his way to work.  Bloom tweeted from the courtroom:

Complaint says defendant Jake Patterson confessed to killing James & Denise Closs as well as the kidnapping. Prosecutors alleged he worked out of town. Stopped behind school bus and saw #JaymeCloss. Told authorities he just knew Jayme was the girl “he was going to take.’

Jake Patterson reportedly told investigators he went to the Closs family home multiple x before pulling off his plan. Both prior times scared off by lights, people, cars in driveway.

Blume further reported in additional tweets: Complaint contains details of #JaymeCloss interview with authorities. She says she was asleep in her bedroom on 10/15. Dog started barking. Went to her parents room. Jayme saw man with gun at front door. She & her mom hid in bathroom in the bathtub.

#JaymeCloss told authorities Patterson was dressed in black from head to toe with facemask, hat & gloves. Jayme’s mom Denise called 911 on her cell from bathroom. Jayme was bound & placed into trunk of an “older red 4-door car”

After killing both her parents, Patterson dragged Jayme to his car. Blume tweeted details from the complaint just released:

Complaint: Defendant stated he dragged #JaymeCloss across the front yard toward his car. At one point defendant stated he told her she needed to walk & then realized she couldn’t because he had taped her legs together at the ankles”

Jake Patterson complaint: “Defendant stated he was determined he was going to take #JaymeCloss that night & was going to kill anyone in the house because he could not leave any eyewitnesses behind”

In another Twitter post, Bloom reported that Jayme heard the sirens drive past, responding to her mom’s 911 call, as she lay bound in her kidnapper’s trunk. “Just about to mention this. Poor #JaymeCloss was bound & in her kidnapper’s trunk having seen both her parents killed. As Jake Patterson yielded to those squads responding to the house, prosecutors say the 13yo could hear the sirens drive past.”
