Donald Trump sits for an interview with Piers Morgan. When asked about the Prince Harry and Meghan problem Trump ignores political correctness and delineates his feelings.
“I’m not a fan of Meghan, and I wasn’t from the beginning. Poor Harry is being led around by the nose. And I think he’s an embarrassment. I’ve been a very good predictor, as you know. It’ll end, and it will end bad.”
The author asked several friends what they thought of Trump’s revelations. All concurred it was politically incorrect to give their answer and they would never say anything in public, but Trump was 100% correct. Harry is {another name for a cat} whipped, and there are only so many times Meghan can leverage Prince Harry selling out the royal family. The Monarchy had moved on, and left Harry royally skewed. It is only a matter of time before Harry figures it out; he has nothing to contribute to society except his royal birth, and people don’t respect anyone who sells out their family. Harry’s destiny is a pathetic shell of a person, a footnote in the history books. The A-list party invites will dry up and the therapy bills will mount. Harry’s one hope is if his father and brother understand the wisdom of the Parable of the Prodigal Son.
Although Trump’s appraisal of the Harry/Meghan story has no political consequence, it does demonstrate an important principle.
To properly address a problem the first thing that needs to happen is to strip away political correctness. Once the haze of political correctness is cleared away the issue can be analyzed, and appropriate remedies instituted {The sooner Harry begs his family for forgiveness, the better}.
For decades NATO countries refused to pay their dues.
For politically correct reasons Presidents {think Clinton, Bush and Obama} chose to subsidize NATO countries and sap American resources. Trump stripped away the politically correct haze and put a stop to Europe’s grifting of America. Trump endured the media’s hate, and in the end, Europe paid up.
Russia has invaded Ukraine and Biden has committed over $54 billion towards Ukraine’s defense.
Biden also left over $80 billion in military supplies in Afghanistan. To put this in perspective $134 billion would have been enough money to fund decades of preexisting condition high risk medical pools. Combining the funded pools with a few insurance company adjustments would solve the American health care crisis. Instead, the money has been turned into vapor, increasing our national debt and strangling our grandchildren’s future.
Despite folk’s irrational hatred for Donald Trump, does anyone really believe President Trump would have left 80 billion dollars’ worth of arms in Afghanistan {to be used by our enemies} or been intimidated by diplomatic political correctness, allowing Europe to one more time fleece America?
Trump campaigned on making America energy independent.
Trump stripped off the politically correct vale of the Paris Climate Accord, exposing it as functionally impotent and harmful to America. In addition to destroying America’s energy independence, the Accord’s and Europe’s plan was for America to fund trillions of dollars of renewable third world energy. There was no way Trump was going to allow America to be abused again {think NATO} and he pulled America out of the agreement. President Biden has resigned the Paris Climate Accord and America has been left to bend over and take the consequences.
During Trump’s Presidency, for the first time America was a net exporter of energy.
At the same time America’s CO2 emissions were being cut and renewable energy was emerging. The price of gas was $2.50 a gallon. It is now $5 a gallon. When Trump finished inflation was 1.4%. After Biden’s immediate politically correct attack on the fossil fuel industry inflation is now hovering around 9%. A severe recession is looming and in the space of several years the purchasing power of money saved for retirement will be cut anywhere from 30 to 40%. On top of which investment value is already down 25% with no bottom in sight.
For example, if an American had $1000 invested in a stock market retirement fund, it is now worth $750. In several years at approximately 10% inflation the actual purchasing power of the original $1000 would be around $500 dollars. In plain English, the American has lost 50% of their retirement. The nationwide pain is just starting to be realized. Lifetimes of sacrifice and savings savaged by Biden’s politically correct mismanagement.
In the Spring of 2020, the Coronavirus came to America.
President Trump stripped the political correctness out of Government bureaucracy, knocked heads at the FDA, and operation “Warp Speed” created a vaccine in record time. Throughout the country State governors had the responsibility of coordinating the virus response. Most politically correct progressive governors locked their citizens down. Forced onerous mask mandates, closed schools and even initially {for politically correct reasons} sent infected patients back to high-risk nursing homes, killing thousands of helpless residents.
Several courageous governors refused to be pressured by the media and political correctness into foolish, destructive and ineffective lockdowns, mask mandates and school closures. They protected the at risk and empowered choice for the rest of the population. Millions of Americans were damaged by the progressive governors in places like California, Michigan, New York and Illinois, while the Governors of Florida and Texas showed the way.
In a fashion similar to Trump, these governors wiped clean the politically correct progressive media driven hysteria, withstood the vile progressive attacks, did what was needed to be done and saved their citizens horrible physical and mental hardships. And had similar or better mortality outcomes.
Our nation’s new Republican leaders can no longer be constrained by political correctness.
They can no longer allow the progressives and corrupt media to dictate the terms of free speech and debate. Playing by the progressives or GW Bush’s politically correct rules will result in the same empty promises.
The new generation of Republican leader must cut through the political correctness and say unambiguously what they mean and mean what they say. And then take a lesson from Trump, doing whatever it takes to deliver on their promises.
Republican candidates will have to face vile progressive hate, all the while maintaining their composure and unrelenting decorum; but they must also possess the Eye of the Trump Tiger.
We need Republican “Bulls” in America’s politically correct China shop ready to smash what the virtue signaling progressives have wrought. Clearing the way for evidence-based solutions. Of note, the author knows plenty of Republican biological females {Think Governors Noem and Haley} who qualify as” Bulls”, horns sharp, ready to smash politically correct progressive porcelain China. 🙂
In four months, there’s going to be an election and the progressive politicians who abetted President Biden’s gutting of America need to be removed.
If in the ensuing 2 years, the Republican Presidential” Bull” candidates smash the politically correct porcelain China and cut through the fog of deceit; The folks will finally be able to clearly see how they have been played by the progressives, and in 2024 America will right the ship.
And just like President Carter and his ilk, our current President and his progressive minions will once again be driven into hiding. Having to wait another 50 years for folks to forget the devastating damage they brought on America.
