Yet another Pennsylvania abortion center has failed inspection.
A July survey by state health regulators revealed that the Planned Parenthood – West Chester Surgical Center abortion facility was guilty of a number of health and safety violations.
An inspection report on the PA Department of Health website indicates there was “an unannounced Special Monitoring survey initiated on July 10, 2025 and completed off site on July 16, 2025.” That survey “determined the facility was not in compliance with the requirements” of Pennsylvania law.

During the July inspection, “observation of the emergency cart revealed there were expired medications, syringes, and needles…”
So much for patient care.
Pro-abortion lawmakers in Pennsylvania are pushing to dismantle basic health and safety requirements for abortion centers in the Commonwealth. The state legislature enacted the requirements in the wake of the Kermit Gosnell tragedy in West Philadelphia.
Gosnell was ultimately convicted of murdering three newborn babies and causing the death of a female immigrant patient, Karnamaya Mongar. He is currently serving three consecutive life terms in prison.
Before the health and safety regulations went into effect, hair and nail salons in Pennsylvania earned greater scrutiny than abortion facilities.
Given the shoddy safety records of abortion centers in Pennsylvania, the Commonwealth cannot afford to remove the regulations which make safety inspections possible.
