How many songs have been silenced because of abortion?

The thought came to me as I was listening to a playlist from one of my favorite bands. I grew up listening to and singing their compositions. I cannot imagine life without them.

What incredible musical artists have we lost because of abortion? It is staggering to think of the impact of abortion upon the arts.

The abortion industry would have you believe that those killed were non-entities and not worthy of consideration. But the fact of the matter is that each was a unique individual with a distinctive voice. In some cases, that could have meant an amazing singing voice.

Think of your favorite singer, and how he or she has accompanied you through your life. You may have played that singer’s work at your high school graduation, your birthday party, or your wedding. The fact of the matter is that music has a great deal of meaning for us, and when the artist is silenced, that meaning is lost as well.

The truth is that abortion is the taking of an innocent, irreplaceable human life. It is folly to think otherwise. It is impossible to deny the humanity of the baby in the womb. To do so is to deny a part of our own humanity.

The baby born today may be the virtuoso of tomorrow. Let’s celebrate talent and express thanks for the musical artists in our midst. They could have easily been lost to the culture of death.
