Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson is digging in to resist any effort by President Donald J. Trump to deploy the National Guard to his crime-ridden city and now seems to be actively encouraging riots and civil unrest.
Trump’s crackdown on violent crime has been so successful in Washington, D.C. that he is ready to expand it to other Democrat-run cities where officials and Soros-backed prosecutors have allowed criminals to rule the streets. During a Friday White House press conference, he told reporters that the Windy City is next on the list.
The president’s effort to do the job that they refuse to do has drawn furious responses from Johnson and Illinois Governor JB Pritzker, and Hizzoner walked a thin line between protest and inciting outright anarchy during an appearance on MSNBC’s “The Weekend.”
BREAKING: Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson is now implying his people will rise up against “tyranny” via riots and unrest against President Trump’s administration if he sends troops to Chicago to lower the crime rate.

“So look, we’re gonna remain firm, we’ll take legal action, but the people of this city are accustomed to rising up against tyranny,” Johnson proclaimed. “And if that’s necessary, I believe that the people of Chicago will stand firm alongside of me as I work every single day to protect the people of this city.”
In a post to X, Johnson also claimed that Trump’s proposal to make Chicago safe again “would be the most flagrant violation of our Constitution in the 21st Century,” sharing a link to his MSNBC appearance.
What the President is proposing would be the most flagrant violation of our Constitution in the 21st Century. The City of Chicago does not need a military occupation. https://t.co/nXi503owI9

X users called out Hizzoner’s dog whistling for an insurrection against federal authorities.
Sounds like he is inciting a riot to me

“I’d rather see Chicago burn, than do the job I was hired for” – Translation of Mayor Johnson’s speech on public safety.

Sounds like a threat to revolt violently against the lawful government. I believe that it is the very definition of an insurrection, isn’t it?
Where are the FBI raids to get these insurrectionists into custody? Apparently, as always Pam Blondi is practicing Democrat immunity.

Democrats have bizarrely moved from “soft on crime” to “overtly pro-crime” and actively willing to fight to preserve crime and the right of criminals to victimize others with impunity.

Yes, of course. When your leftist radical policies have failed, and your mind is broken, by all means whip people up and try to incite violence. It’s a wonderful distraction and deflection from mayoral failures.

Makes sense. Riots and unrest to fight for higher crime.
We never thought that we would see the day that the left was fighting for higher crime. You cannot make this up.

“Chicago’s a mess. You have an incompetent mayor. Grossly incompetent, and we’ll straighten that one out probably next, that will be our next one after this,” Trump told the press on Friday. “And it won’t even be tough.”

“We won’t speculate on further operations. The Department is a planning organization and is continuously… working with other agency partners on plans to protect federal assets and personnel,” a Pentagon spokesperson told ABC News of the potential deployment of the National Guard to Johnson’s turf.
Since he was elected, Mayor Johnson has regularly engaged in race-baiting and expressing anti-white sentiment, both in his policies and his rhetoric, recently saying that Trump has “always been intimidated by the intellectual prowess of black men.”
