Just yesterday, a liberal judge released Kilmar Abrego Garcia from jail in Tennessee back to Maryland where he was greeted with chants of “Yes we could!” in Spanish.
Yes we could, what, exactly? Circumvent the law? Yes, he could..beat his wife and lock his kids in a room? The burning question: was Senator Chris Van Hollen there to greet him with a pitcher of margaritas? Suffice to say, Kristi Noem was not happy:
Activist liberal judges have attempted to obstruct our law enforcement every step of the way in removing the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens from our country. Today, we reached a new low with this publicity hungry Maryland judge mandating this illegal alien who is a MS-13 gang member, human trafficker, serial domestic abuser, and child predator be allowed free. By ordering this monster loose on America’s streets, this judge has shown a complete disregard for the safety of the American people. We will not stop fighting till this Salvadoran man faces justice and is OUT of our country,” “-Kristi Noem
A U.S. Magistrate judge ordered that if he is taken into ICE custody that he will have “access to his attorneys” in order to “prepare for trial in this case.”
But, will Abrego Garcia actually stay in Maryland? The plot thickens. According to immigration reporter Bill Melugin, ICE is already moving to not only detain Abrego Garcia, but to deport him to Uganda. U.S. Magistrate Judge Barbara Holmes was the Tennessee judge who released him, to give him a few hours of freedom.
Months back, U.S. Magistrate Judge Barbara Holmes said prosecutors “failed to produce enough plausible evidence” that Abrego posed a danger to the community, was a flight risk or that he victimized minors. Holmes repeatedly described the evidence presented by prosecutors as “strained, unreliable and contradictory”. Of course, she released him.
But Uganda? Why Uganda? Apparently, it’s one of the third-party countries that has agreed to take illegal immigrants from America, an operation recently blessed by the Supreme Court as legal. But this was not what Kilmar Abrego Garcia or his supporters expected. At all. Still, an interesting plot twist, to say the least.
U-Ganda love it there, Kilmar.

Maryland-based U.S. District Judge Paula Xinis ruled last month that the government must give Abrego 72 hours’ notice if it plans to initiate deportation proceedings. So, now we wait. What Xinis did not indicate in this ruling is that she did not prohibit the government from seeking his removal, writing that immigration agents “may take whatever action is available to them under the law.”
And, so Abrego Garcia sits in Maryland and the clock counts down. But, fear not. Senator Chris Van Hollen’s got his six:
My heavens, is Van Hollen having an affair with this guy? Weird

A blossoming bromance these two have! His own personal Senator wants to have sleepovers!
Um, No one is above the Law, Senator @ChrisVanHollen

No one.
As we wait this out and see what happens over the next 72 hours, I will say this. To repeat: Kilmar Abrego Garcia transported illegals. He came into this country illegally. He had gang affiliations. He aided in the murder of a rival gang member’s mother. He was not the ordinary “Maryland father” just busting his ass trying to make a living, as the bleeding hearts and the mainstream media would like others to believe. So, he may end up in Uganda. Or, he may end up walking free, And if he does, where is any accountability of U.S. Magistrate Judge Barbara Holmes and Chris Van Hollen should he commit crime again? Or, even worse, should his crimes cause harm or, God forbid, death of innocents? Should Justice Holmes keep her job? Should Senator Van Hollen still be on our payroll? Or should they both be rendered homeless? It’s time these judges and politicians be held accountable, too.
How is it that this man, who is here illegally has his own security guards and lawyers and supports for his family? If Abrego is free to roam about in this country, it is only a matter of time now that he is out that he will offend again. So, Yes we could. Yes, we could deport Kilmar Abrego Garcia. Let’s throw the Democrats who made this mess possible in there, too. If anything, they deserve to go as much as he does.
