Texas House Minority Leader Gene Wu has come up with a new scheme to delay the redistricting of the Lone Star State.
The Dem Rep. introduced an amendment that would allow the new House map to be created only after AG Pam Bondi releases the Jeffrey Epstein files.
The amendment declares that no map will be made until Bondi “makes publicly available in a searchable and downloadable format all unclassified records, documents, communications, and investigative materials in the possession of the Department of Justice, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation and United States Attorneys’ Offices, that relate to Jeffrey Epstein,” The Hill reported.
Wu appears convinced (or really, really hopes) that there’s incriminating evidence against Trump in the files.

“Trump is in those files, and that’s why he’s fighting to keep them hidden,” Wu alleged in a statement, according to The Hill.
“At the same time he’s demanding Abbott ram through racist maps, he’s making sure Congressional Republicans block the release of files that could expose his decades-long relationship with a child sex trafficker,” he added. “This amendment forces Republicans to choose between their loyalty to Trump and their obligation to expose sexual predators.”
Wu’s Epstein distraction appears to be doing little to quell growing anger over runaway Dems who refuse to do their jobs.
Democrats have no narrative to speak on besides Trump bad. Not only is Trump “winning,” the American people are as well.

What a load of crap. That wasn’t the reason they used when they fled! Liars!

Note Wu pushing it “before the redistricting vote” so essentially for whatever political value there might be in it (very little). This is similar to issues that lie dormant for 3.5 years and then suddenly become urgent the summers before November Presidential elections.

All of a sudden, the Epstein files became important for Dems.
What a load of shit.
