Another American Zionist Christian National hero has died. It was announced today that Dr. James Dobson, the founder of Focus on the Family, has died at the age of 89.
James Dobson’s Last Words on What He Believed
The James Dobson Corporation apparently had a memorial website all setup prior to today’s announcement that Dr. James Dobson has died.
This is the quote at the top of the home page of the James Dobson Memorial website which are apparently Dobson’s last words he wanted to be remembered by:
“WHAT I BELIEVE
I have concluded that the accumulation of wealth, even if I could achieve it, is an insufficient reason for living. When I reach the end of my days, a moment or two from now, I must look backward on something more meaningful than the pursuit of houses and land and machines and stocks and bonds. Nor is fame of any lasting benefit. I will consider my earthly existence to have been wasted unless I can recall a loving family, a consistent investment in the lives of people, and an earnest attempt to serve the God who made me.
Nothing else makes much sense.” (Emphasis mine – source.)
Notice that the name of Jesus Christ is never mentioned? Maybe it was because Jesus’s teaching on the family was quite different from what Dobson taught? Dobson states that apart from a “loving family” that “nothing else makes much sense.”
But Jesus said that members of our family will become our enemies if they oppose him:
“Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.
For I have come to turn ‘a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law— a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.’” (Matthew 10:34-36)
Like Billy Graham, Dobson was a very powerful and influential Evangelical Christian leader in the political realm who was an advisor to 5 Presidents of the United States: Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Donald Trump.
During the Reagan presidency, Dobson was appointed to a government commission on pornography, which was a major platform of the Republicans in the 1980s.
Dobson gained national recognition on the subject of pornography when convicted serial killer Ted Bundy allegedly stated that he would only do his last interview before being executed with Dr. James Dobson, to talk about America’s “problem with pornography.”
Many saw through this charade, saying that the problem was not pornography, but James Dobson himself.
They called him out on his hypocrisy, as he apparently changed his tune on pornography during the 2016 presidential campaign so that he could support the Evangelical favorite for POTUS: Donald Trump.
Pornography is Not the Problem. The Real Issue is James Dobson
Ted Bundy was one of the most infamous serial killers in United States history. Even today people do not know how many people he has killed.
On the eve of his execution by the State of Florida in 1989, James Dobson interviewed him about pornography. Dobson rode the porn issue for decades and talked about its danger, as well as links to violence.
And then in 2016 Dobson flip flopped on explicit material and down played Trump appearing in pornographic movies and magazines.
The hypocrisy of James Dobson is sickening. And in the end the following needs to be said.
Pornography is not the problem. The real issue is James Dobson.
Others also criticized Dobson during this time stating that he and his leaders were encouraging pastors and others to “educate themselves” on pornography, by actually buying some and watching it.
Book Review – “Christians in a Sex-Crazed Culture” by Bill Hybels
The last post focused on Chapters 1-6. I intended to only do two posts highlighting Bill’s book from 1989 on sex, however, I want to highlight Chapter 8 all on it’s own.
This chapter is titled, The Pornography Problem. Pornography has been around for ages, but the way people accessed pornography began to change in the 80’s when DVD players started entering homes.
So, it is not surprising to see a chapter devoted to pornography.
What was surprising was Pat Baranowski’s story published by The New York Times on August 5, 2018. In this article Ms. Baranowski reports:
In the late 1980s, crusading against pornography was a top priority for evangelicals. Mr. Hybels told Ms. Baranowski that he had been told to educate himself on the issue by James Dobson, founder of the ministry Focus on the Family, who had been appointed by President Ronald Reagan to an anti-pornography commission.
Calling it research, Mr. Hybels once instructed Ms. Baranowski to go out and rent several pornographic videos, she said, to her great embarrassment. He insisted on watching them with her, she said, while he was dressed in a bathrobe.
Keep this in mind while reading parts from Chapter 8. Bill states that he was not aware of the full extent of how pornography had changed during the 80’s.
One day, after having lunch with James Dobson, Bill was asked what he was doing to address the pornography problem in the United States. Bill states the following conversation occurred:
“Well,” I (Hybels) said, “I’m intending to do a message on it in the fall.”
“How are you going to prepare for it?” he (Dobson) asked.
“Well, I haven’t really determined that yet.”
He looked me right in the eye and said, “Get yourself educated, young man, firsthand. Get educated and then just do as God leads from that point on.”
Dobson tells Hybels to “get educated firsthand” about pornography? Does Dobson actually mean to say, “Bill, get yourself some porn?” There is the implication behind the instruction. So, what does Bill do?
First, I got copies of pornographic magazines, and I found out that the kind I used to sneak peeks at in high school don’t exist anymore. I couldn’t locate one magazine with the partially clad women – the mild kind of pornography that was the standard fifteen years ago.
Instead, I learned that today’s mild form of pornography – the stuff that we can buy in area convenience stores – contains photo layouts that almost defy the imagination, including pictures of women being bound and gagged, raped, whipped, and abused.
Standard fare includes an array of multiple sex partners in heterosexual, homosexual, and lesbian photo poses. The underlying theme is usually domination or violence. The rougher magazines depict gang rape scenes, torture scenes, and bestiality.
Some of the most popular magazines show men and women having sexual relationships with children ranging in age from three to eight years old.
Next, I had my assistants rent some videos. I’m not sure what I was expecting, but I saw a steady stream of sexual perversion, including fathers having sex with daughters, sons with mothers, siblings with each other, adults with children, and children with children.
Let’s get this straight: 1) Focus on the Family’s James Dobson tells Bill he needs firsthand experience to understand the porn problem in the U.S., 2) Bill goes hunting for soft porn magazines that he used to “sneak peaks” at while in high school, 3) Bill is stunned that 80’s soft porn is not the porn he used to remember, and 4) Bill decides to fully immerse himself in the experience and requests those who work for him (Jan Baranowski?) to pick up pornographic videos.
Here is some more information about Dr. Dobson and Focus on the Family that I have previously published:
The “Christian Family” is a $Multi-Billion Dollar Industry
In spite of the fact that the western concept of the American “Christian Family” is a myth, it is a $multi-billion industry that continues to grow today. It has been around for many decades, and instead of this teaching strengthening American families, I seriously doubt that anyone would argue with me that the American family has rapidly declined in moral values during this time until today.
One of the men who has shaped American culture and the concept of the “America Christian Family,” is Dr. James Dobson who is the founder of “Focus on the Family.”
Dobson was not trained in the Bible or theology when he founded his Focus on the Family organization, which today takes in about $100 million a year.
No, he was trained in psychology and medical pediatrics. He was an Associate Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Southern California School of Medicine for 14 years, starting in 1967.
He became a national leader in the Conservative Right Wing movement of the U.S., and much of his teaching became “mainstream” teaching in Corporate Christianity, with his pro-pharma and pro-psychology views that were “Christianized” to distinguish them from Liberal Left Wing teaching.
While Dobson is retired today, his Focus on the Family remains a leader in this Conservative Christian movement, which is also a leader in child trafficking in the Evangelical “Orphan Care” movement. See:
Christian Churches Redefine the Meaning of “Orphan” to Justify Participating in Child Trafficking
We can easily see that Christian Corporations such as Focus of the Family have culturally defined what is a “good Christian family” and what is not, which are primarily White, middle class families, and which then become the standard of “good parents,” and who should be able to keep their children, and who should have their children taken away, through the foster care and adoption Government-funded programs that destroy families today, and are the #1 pipeline to child sex trafficking.
Read the full article: The Concept of the American Christian Family is a Myth and is NOT Found Anywhere in the Bible
Focus on the Family has also supported radicals in the U.S. Government sanctioned child trafficking network called “foster care” and “adoption.”
At a conference in 2014 regarding “Adoption” that was funded by Focus on the Family, Harvard Family Law Professor Elizabeth Bartholet was a keynote speaker. Bartholet is against homeschool education, and believes that every child should be a ward of the State before the parents can be proven to be “good” parents.
Richard Wexler, Executive Director of the National Coalition for Child Protection Reform, wrote:
Bartholet’s ideas are so extreme that they include requiring every family with a young child to open itself to mandatory government surveillance. (That’s not an exaggeration. There’s a summary of her views in the section of this post to the NCCPR Child Welfare Blog called “Harvard’s resident extremist” and the details are in her own book, Nobody’s Children, pp. 170, 171).
We covered this back in 2020 during a time where EVERYONE was homeschooling over the fear of COVD because the schools were closed:
Harvard Law Professor Calls for Ban on Homeschooling While Everyone is Forced to do it
Focus on the Family is also pro-pharma, and worked together with the Trump Administration in 2020 to support all the COVID protocols and vaccines that the Trump Administration was pushing.
Focus on the Family also has many of their daily broadcasts focus on “Mental Health”, where their featured guests are usually those in the medical field, and often they are Jews, even though Focus on the Family is advertised as a “Christian” organization, and their IRS classification refers to them as a “Church.”
No wonder the name of “Jesus Christ” is seldom, if ever heard on their broadcasts. The healing that Jesus Christ provides is far superior to the American medical system, especially for “mental health.”
See:
Christian Leaders Push “Mental Health” and Trusting Medical Doctors Rather than Trusting the Jesus of the Bible to Deal with Life’s Problems
While many Christians today will mourn the loss of Dr. James Dobson, I mourn his life, and the millions of people he led astray by promoting the Satanic world system, rather than leading people to Jesus Christ and the teachings of the Bible.
Trained in psychology and medicine, he basically took the secular writings of Dr. Spock, based on Freudian psychoanalysis teaching which became a foundation of liberalism in the U.S., and “christianized” those teachings to make it more palatable to the Evangelical Right.
Whether the liberal (Spock) or conservative (Dobson) version, both systems eliminate or ignore the teachings of Jesus Christ in the Bible.
Dr. Dobson’s teaching on the family is a huge reason why American culture has morally deteriorated so rapidly in the past couple of decades, in my opinion, where today Americans so willingly put up with their pedophile national leaders running the country, and even vote for them.
