UTC sent out an active shooter alert to students and staff early Thursday afternoon. We’re on the scene and working to learn more about what happened.
The alert, sent at 12:42 p.m. Thursday, says
UTC-ALERT: Possible active shooter in University Center or Library. Run. Hide. fight. More info forthcoming.
The incident has drawn a large police presence to the campus.
All students on campus are currently sheltering in place.
