In further growth, Breaking Defense adds Mark Pomerleau to cover the defense networks and information warfare beat

Breaking Defense is excited to announce a major new addition with Mark Pomerleau as a senior staff reporter, starting September 2.

Pomerleau is highly esteemed in defense technology reporting circles, the leading reporter covering defense information technology, cyber, electronic warfare and combat networks. His work has focused on how these technologies impact warfighting and the defense enterprise and how industry plans and develops systems. He will continue his best-in-field reporting on this sector now for Breaking Defense, with new opportunities covering digital warfare at the world’s largest newsroom dedicated to defense.

Pomerleau currently writes for DefenseScoop, where he built out defense technology coverage as their first reporter. Prior to that, he had a long tenure at C4ISRNET, where he was the lead reporter for the publication, while also contributing to Defense News. Pomerleau has over a decade of experience focused on the defense networks and information warfare, carving a well-earned reputation as the preeminent reporter in this high-growth sector of defense.
